*The picture is of the old abandoned town where we hang out*

I was getting ready to go outside. It was a cold fall night. All of my friends were going to gather at the old abandoned town to play hide and seek. It was a perfect night to play the game too. I couldn't wait.

I ran to the town and smiled. All of my friends were there, running around and waiting for the last few people to arrive. I grinned and jogged up to the group. Ruby saw me and yelled, "Alright, Listen Up!" Her voice was crisp and cool as said it. "People are going to be put in groups of 3. People began scrambling around and pairing up with partners. "Wait!" Ruby yelled. "I already have the groups ready." She pulled out a piece of paper and yelled, "Group 1 is the seekers! Since there are so many of us there group will be able to search with 3 people!" Names were read off.

I was put with my best friends, Ellie and Kailee. We were really good together anyway. We ran through the creepy town and decided to head to the old toy shop. We scurried to the center of town and headed inside. The toy shop was moldy and dusty, old dolls sat upon the shelves, some of their eyes had fallen out. Most of the hair was gone. It was scary, but we didn't care. We headed to the counter and crouched down. Rotted candy filled the under shelves. We grinned at each other, then crouched.

The creak of the door opening 10 minutes later hushed us. We all crouched even lower and ducked our heads under the counter top. The movement of feet made us want to giggle, but we slapped one another if we started to get to loud. It was either Sam, Sarah or Allison who were walking. They were the seekers. The floor boards creaked and groaned as one of them seemingly tip-toed across the wooden floor boards. Then, he or she stopped.

A shadow began to creep up on us. From where we were seated, we could see the shadow perfectly. It looked-odd. Nothing like Allison or Sarah or Sam, no, this shadow seemed-well, not human...The floor boards protested as the shadow began to appear and come to us. They were about to look under the counter! We pushed ourselves back against the back of the counter, the creature appeared.....
