Kain in the media

I hadn't seen Kain around since the cafe situation. I'll admit it kinda bothered me ,it seems as if he's always disappearing then showing back up. I pushed it to the back of my mind because I needed to focus on this dreadful lecture.Throughout the whole class I'd glance at seat like he'd magically appear. I don't know why he was on my mind I don't like him.

Class was over for the day. And as I was walking out someone grabbed me and put their hand over my mouth to silence my scream.

They let me go and turned me around to face them.

Kain

"Kain are you insane you scared me to death."I said to him

He rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry...I was just trying to get your attention." he said

"You could have gotten my attention like normal people do for example hey Melody."I said to him

He had a look of amusement on his face and this was far from funny to me. I narrowed my eyes at him which made him burst into laughter.

I had totally forgot about what occurred earlier because he was laughing. He was fucking laughing. I hadn't ever heard him laugh ever. And I must say his laugh was beautiful almost heavenly. It was deep and masculine but not too deep.

I must have been staring for a while because he was now looking at me with a concerned look.

"You alright Melody?"he asked

I smile a little nodding my head." Yea I'm fine...now what is that you want to talk to me about?" I asked

His rubbed the back of his neck with one hand and stuffed his other hand in his black jeans. His cheeks turning a deep red.

He's nervous but why?

"Kain?"I say stepping closer to him."What is it?" I say with a small smile.

" I uhh....um I wanted to know...if umm...I could..."he was rambling. he was definitely nervous and I had no idea why.

I was getting frustrated now.

"Spit it out already."I say with a small smile.

"I wanted to know if I could maybe get your number you know just in case I need it." he rushed out.

I burst into laughter he was all flustered just to ask for my number. So I think I'll mess with him a little.

"Mhmm... "I say pretending to think about my answer knowing I would give him my number. And gosh his face was
priceless.

"Yes you can have my number." I say smiling at him. He looked relived and smiled back at me.
He handed me his phone and I put my number in.

"I'll text you so you can save mine." he said. I nodded at him. I then noticed that the clouds were grey and it was pouring rain. Great I have to get soaked. I guess Kain noticed too.

" Umm do you need a ride home?" he asked.

"Yea actually I do."I say giggling at little.

"C'mon."he said. I followed closely behind him until we came to a black Jeep Wrangler.

His car was a beauty. He unlocked the car hopping inside,me doing the same.
