Chris pov:

Heading back upstairs to my office I still had Rihanna's interview in my thoughts. She seemed different from the people that I've had meetings with. She didn't try to impress me with boring things I've heard a thousand times and she didn't try to seduce or bribe me in anyway and that's pretty rare to come by when you're working for a big company like this. Rihanna was genuine in the way she acted and how she answer the questions. Her laugh was natural and so was her smile. That being said I walk back into my office and sit down at the desk. Looking at the pile of resumes I put them in a draw and dial the front desks number.

Front desk: "Yes Mr.Brown?"

Me: "Could you please cancel all my other interviews for me."

Front desk: "Of course and I suspect you've chosen a new assistant?"

Me: "Yes I have and this time I think she's gonna be a keeper."

Front desk: "So what do you see in this particular candidate if I may ask Mr.Brown."

Me: "Well she's worked in the clothing field before and didn't try to get the job on looks and money alone plus she has this way about her that just seems different from the other ones."

Front desk: "Oh so she's "different" than other people you've had meetings with."

I cough a little and loosen my collar. Sarah has been my front desk attendant for a while and whenever I lose a assistant she fills the spot until I get a new one. Sarah knows me well enough to know how I really feel about someone or something. She knows whether or not I like an outfit or design and she especially knows if I feel a certain way about a person.

Me: "Um...well yea she's different I'll talk to you later ok Sarah."

Sarah: "Mmm ok well we'll talk about this later understand."

Me: "Oh alright you know I'll let you have the rest of the day off."

Sarah: "Are you sure about that?"

Me: "Yes I'm sure I'm in a good mood and even though I have a lot of work to do I'm sure I can finish up most of it before tonight."

Sarah: "If you say so. Have a good rest of your day Mr.Brown."

Me: "I've told you call me Chris."

Yet it was to late she had already hung up the phone. I sigh even knowing each other for this long she still calls me by my last name even at work. I know she does that to annoy me but still it would be fine for her to call me by my first name. I consider her a friend. Sighing a pull out the paperwork and other things I need to do from out of my top drawer and set it on my desk. Most of my work has gotten backed since I have no assistant to help me. As I get started on my work Rihanna pops into my mind, I know I'll be calling her soon to tell her she has the job but not right now. As I write I think about how great of a personal assistant she'll be for me.
