"What." I snapped into my phone.

"Boss," The voice replied.

"Out with it." I growled.

Pause. "Well, boss. We have a slight problem."

"That being?" I impatiently asked.

"Our supplies are gone..." My right hand man - Rick - rushed out.

"Gone?" My voice turned low. Dangerous.

"Yes. Gone." I cursed.

"What's the point of hiring you guys to do the job if you won't do it right?" I yelled over the line.

"Boss-" Rick tried saying an excuse, but I cut him off.

"You're fired." I said then hung up. "Another." I ordered the bartender. Elle, her name tag read. She slid another scotch on the rocks over to me after a moment and looked over to the person who was stupid enough to sit next to me.

"I'll have the same as him."

My interest piped up. "Think you can handle that, love?" I looked over to the brunette.

She smirked. "Love?"

"Yes. Love. Got a problem with that?" I asked

She didn't say anything, just drank her drink that was set in front of her a second ago. "Thanks," She said to the sexy bartender. Elle just nodded her head, then continued to tend the bar.

"So, Love. What's your name?"

"Rose. Yours?" Rose - I tried out her name in my head - replied. At this, I slightly turned my body toward hers. Rose was wearing a short sparkly red dress with a gold locket hanging just below her collar bones. With that, she had black pumps to match her dress. A dress that would look better on Liz. A voice very much like my own, snarled at the back of my mind.

Pushing the unwelcome thoughts away, I made a tsk tsk tsk sound. I shook my head and responded with, "Rose, how 'bout we take this somewhere more... private."

It wasn't a question, it was a command.

"I don't know. What're we gonna do?" She flirted, while raising a perfect eyebrow that seemed to be a darker shade of brown than her hair.

This got me smirking. "Anything you wish."

My phone rang through the empty night air. I lit a cigar, still in bed, before I grabbed my phone off the night stand. "Speak." I ordered.

"Well, well, well." My brother, James, drawled out.

I felt a small hand land on my shoulder, then slowly drew her way down my back. She kissed my shoulder blade before speaking. "Come back to bed, baby." At the end of the line, I heard James snicker.

"Leave." I told Rose, then continued my conversation with James. "What do you want?"

"Dick." I heard Rose mutter under her breath before getting out of the bed. Other than James babbling on on the other side, Rose's footsteps was the only noise. Then, the door slammed.

"I told Rick that you were kidding, and that he has his job back. You know, you really shouldn't do rash stuff like that, Rick is the best right hand man you've had since sh-" I interrupted before he can mention something I didn't want to discuss this late - or early, depending on how you looked at it - or at all, for that matter.

"Listen, James. I don't care about that right now. I don't want to talk about it, either. Not at - " I checked the time from my phone. "One-thirty in the morning. What're you doing up, anyways? Wife kicked you out yet?" I smirked.

James let out a dry laugh. "Very funny."

I chuckled as well. "OK, OK, I give up. Tell Rick that I expect him tomorrow mornin', eight A.M. sharp, will ya'?" Then I hung up. Shortly after, my phone rang. And rang. And rang.

I set my phone on silent and fell into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up with lights streaming into the hotel room. Grumbling, I checked the time. Nine-forty A.M.

Not bothering to shower, I changed into a different suit. Can't believe I fell asleep with a suit on, again. I thought to myself. Oh well.

I grabbed my keys, wallet and phone then made my way to the door, whistling a tune I've heard before, but couldn't quite put my finger on it. The elevator ride down to the lobby was quiet. A young lady was there, shamelessly checking me out before trying to make her tight dress more revealing. I smirked at her as the elevator made a ping noise and made my way out.

"Good morning, sir." Nodding at the doorman, I took my car keys out. As I walked towards my car, I pressed the unlock button and it rewarded me with the beautiful unlocking noise.

The whole time I drove, I whistled the same tune as earlier. When I got to work, only then I realized what tune I was whistling.

Here comes the bride. Here comes the bride, all dressed in white.

Rose's dress in the media.
