"Troye?"  I yelled through our small house as I made my way inside.

Nothing.

Just the chirping of the crickets filled up the silent space. I placed the sunflowers I had purchased for troye down on the kitchen counter, and slumped my way to the dining table and took a seat. After coffee, tyler and I had almost spent the whole day together. And now that the sun was setting outside my window I now felt lonely. I checked my phone to see that troye had texted me.

Whenever troye isn't in the house I feel so empty. Troye thinks he's the clingy one but in all reality it was me. As much as I liked us having our own social lives, when I get home I just like seeing his face. Sighing I grabbed the remote off the coffee table and waited for him to get home.

3:00 am

That's when troye came stumbling into the house, giggling to himself. I jumped up quick to assist the boy.

"Hey connieeeee" he slurred

He reeked of cheap booze and sweat. We liked to have the occasional drink together, but I hated when he came home trashed.

"Hey lets get you upstairs and into bed okay love." I spoke quietly

As I tried to haul him over to the stairs, he stopped to look at me in the dark. The street lights radiated from the outside into the windows making us able to see each other's eyes. His filled with such lust, and mine probably filled with sorrow. We stared at each other for a few minutes, no words escaping. I finally broke the silence

"C'mon." I grabbed his hand and carefully lead him up the stairs.

As we made our way into the bedroom, I quickly helped him take off his clothes.

"Im not sleeping with you." I blurted suddenly

He didn't try to argue. Instead he just tucked himself under the thick blanket. Sighing I gave him a kiss on his temple.

"I love you troye." I mumbled as I stood in the doorway getting ready to make my way back downstairs.

All I got was the now light snores escaping Troyes mouth. I quietly shut the door.

And that morning, 3:20am to be exact, I  slept on the couch.
