Chapter 8

Kyle and I finally arrived at the hotel and I was exhausted. All that dancing made my legs feel like I ran a marathon. Before I got out of the car I took off my high heels and got out of the car and catches up to Kyle who was just entering.
Kyle glanced over at me "Did you enjoy the party?" He asked
I nodded "It was actually a lot of fun. It was something way else then I expected.

Kyle nodded and changed into his pajama bottoms and left the top showing his chest.

I went to the bathroom and took off my makeup and changes in my pajamas too. It was a plan white T-shirt with flannel shorts. I tempted to put curlers in my hair, but I had no idea how too.
I sighed and went to my bed which Kyle was laying in. I looked at him and crossed my arms

" Kyle, get up" I commanded

He looked at me and went to his bed. He was always on his phone doing something. I don't know what he is doing, but I know it is an addiction.

I then crawled in my bed and finally passed out.

I woke up my face get hit my a pillow that was used by so much force. I woke up and wiped my eyes and looked at Kyle who had a pillow in his hands ready to hit me again. He smiled and said

"Good you are up"

He then threw the pillow back on the bed and layed at the end of my bed.

I looked at him "What?"

"We need to have a talk about today's ball. This one is more traditional."

I nodded and looked at him "Okay, but Kyle my hair is a hot mess. I won't be putting on Makeup because I don't know how to and I don't have any makeup sets."

I put my hand up high and said

"This was my chances with me before."

Then I dropped it so it was touching the bed sheet

"And now this is what its now"

I sighed and pulled my hand back under the covers from where it was warm. I leaned back and looked at Kyle's dark brown eyes.

"How was the party?"

"It was good the Alpha and I talked." I blushed when I said that.

Kyle observed me looking at my body language until he finally said

"Remember stay on the misson. You shouldn't give one or two shits about this Alpha dude."

I nodded "Which I don't!" I snapped back

He rolled his eyes and got off my bed and went to his suit case and took out a black shirt and put it on himself.

"If you need me. I will be downstairs getting some dinner" He then walked out of the door with a slight slam with it.

I sighed and rolled out of bed and put on my fuzzy slippers. I brushed my hair out in the bathroom talking to myself about a whole bunch of topics.

"Kyle, is obviously Jealous." I muttered to myself.

I sighed and put my hair in a tight pony tail and started making my way downstairs. It was a whole bunch of people sitting and eating their breakfast until I spotted Kyle sitting alone eating some sorta of soup.

I quickly went to his table and took a seat in front of him. I looked at him and asked

"What are you eating."

"Miso soup." He continued eating

I nodded and started looking around

"So you are just going to do small talk. Alright understood."

Mason POV (After the party)

My two close Betas Daniel, Aiden, and I sat down in the kitchen at the bar stand. Daniel poured all of us some wine and sat down.

Then Aiden looked at me then asked

"So did you find your mate yet?"

I took a sip of my rich red wine and shook my head then shrugged.

"There were a lot of beautiful women there, but most of all one stood out towards me."

Rebella

Her name automatically went through my mind and I remembered how she looked like. She had dark brown curly hair that went perfect with her ice cold blue eyes.

Aiden waved his hand in front of my face

"Mason?" He asked

I stopped from my zoning out and stopped thinking of Rebella.

"Yea, I don't know, but this one girl stood out to me. Her name is Rebella."

Daniel looked at me "Describe her."

I took another sip and said "She was the only girl that didn't come up to me. The one who had an innocent face, but behind it a secret."

I untied my bow tie and let it hang down on me. I looked around at my Beta's.

"Since you two have mates. How do you know that you have a mate?"

Aiden scratched his head and looked at me.

"Well it comes in a variety of ways. Some people smell something sweet and nice. Others fell sparks or a type of energy when they are around their mate. Also you can't stop thinking of that person."

I nodded and finished my wine and put it in the sink.

"Well guys I am out night."

When I was walking out her name came back in my head

Rebella.
