Chapter 4 - First day in Seoul

- Yeonji's pov -

I woke up still thinking of the dinner I had last night.

My step dad is such a good cook!

And I learned a new word. Omo.

I guess I'll be start using that.

I sat up to have a better view of the new room I'm in.

I'm really in korea, I'm soon gonna be a korean.

School starts tomorrow for me and I got all my bags packed.

And I got few sets of my new uniform.

The uniform for my new school is really pretty, it looks good on me.

Sorry I'm super self praising right now. Forgive me for Pete's sake xD.

Smelling the scent of Seoul, I suddenly got nervous.

How would school be like?

Well appa said that's a good school.

And just told me to focus on my studies but can I?

I'm quite worried that I'll be one of those girls in kdrama who will get beaten up for god-knows-why and those bullies would take all their money and dirty up their pretty uniforms.

Omo, I have to snap outta this, it's making me even more nervous for tomorrow.

I went downstairs and saw mom still watching that drama but with a 50 inch tv?!

Am I dreaming?

I guess usd to won is a really big amount....

"Mom, when did we have this huge tv?" she turned and said

"good morning hon, oh this tv? It was sent here 2 hours ago. It was supposed to reach yesterday but it delayed"

"oh okay.. Where's appa?" I asked cause I'm seeing him nowhere around.

"I guess you guys are really close now huh? Haha that's great! Oh and he's outside talking with our neighbors" she asked while her eyes still never left the tv screen.

"Oh..." I said to myself and walked towards the kitchen. Not forgetting I've ate nothing.

"Mom, are we gonna eat breakfast?" I'm quite starving.

"Oh yea breakfast, yee soon said that he'll make us breakfast but I think he forgotten.." What?

"You're not hungry?" Cause I'm starving urgh.

"No, I made myself some tea" she pointed at the tea cup on the table beside her.

"Oh okay" I have a plan.

"Mom, Is it okay if I stroll around here a bit? I'm sure I won't go far, maybe just get something to eat." I asked for permission.

"Huh? Oh it's okay, then we won't make you breakfast alright? And don't be out for too long" mom said.

"Okay, I'll take care of myself." I said and went off (I brought money of course do you think I'm stupid).

I'm still starving, what should I eat?

Wait, I don't know where I'm even going.

I looked at where I'm going, I don't actually know where am I now.

Great. I'm lost. And I said I can take care of myself.

What should I do? I looked at some sign boards, they're all in Hangul. I don't understand any of them.

I just walked without a direction and I saw McDonalds?! Oh yea thank god. Yesssss

I walked in and ordered a Big Mac.

I'm hungry okay.. I can literally eat a horse right now.

Also a relief that i knew some basic words in korean to order, if not it's so damn embarrassing.

There's no where empty, everyone is enjoying their meals in pairs or more.

I should've just ask appa to cook, I'm stupid.

Maybe I'll just walk home with my Big Mac and eat along the way.

I went out of mcdonalds and I'm currently finding my way home.

I just walked around finding my way until something caught my eyes. It's a playground!

Why didn't I saw it earlier just now? Whatever, I guess I'll take a rest there and eat.

I walked there in seconds as it's just foot steps away.

I sat on a swing and started to eat my Big Mac. Delicious as hell.

I kept eating happily like it's my first meal after forever.

After I finish eating I stood up to find a garbage bin to throw the plastic bag and wrappings.

Then I realized why no one is here? Strange.

Well I guess I better go home now, how long have I been out?

"I'm sorry I really don't love you anymore." A girl voice said.

"Why?! Are you leaving me for him? Why!" A boy voice said in an angry tone.

"Let go! We are over!" The girl voice said again.

What is going on? I peeked behind me and saw a girl and a guy Infront of another sad looking guy.

The sad looking guy was not letting go the girl's arm.

"Stop! Let go of her!" The other guy I assume is the girl's current boyfriend is trying to make the sad looking guy let go of the girl.

After all those pushing and pulling the sad looking guy finally let go the girl but fell on the floor.

He's getting dumb huh? From his soon-to-be ex girlfriend and her new boyfriend?

Or did she cheat on him?

Why do I even care so much.

As I'm saying that guy fell on the floor and the girl and the guy just left him there not bothering with helping him stand.

I'm not a cold-hearted person okay.. I feel bad for him now.

I went up to help him up "gwenchana?" I asked.

he just left. Rude much?

I guess he's still not in the mood since what happened to him earlier.

Ahhhhh I was gonna ask him if he knows the way to my house.. Guess I'm going on my own.

I walked and walked still not reaching home. Urgh where exactly am I?

I swear I didn't went this far just now. I'm so worried, I guess mom and appa too?

Will they come and find me?

God help me, the sky is getting dark, please please please tell me it's not going to rain.

Sigh, The sky started pouring already.

I run as fast as I can until I reach the bus stop which has a shelter.

I'm completely wet.

I tried finding tissues through my bag but Dang it I dint bring any.

Going out on my own sure is the worst idea I had.

I'm shivering in coldness.

You won't imagine this the sky poured all of a sudden making me wet on my shirt and hair.

Did I mentioned I had glasses on?

My glasses was completely blurred.

I took it off and wiped it with the edge of my shirt.

Suddenly someone rushed in the shelter completely wet, too.

I put on my glasses and took a closer look to who it was.

It's him?
