Blade , Rose, Sam and Bryan are sitting infrount of a fire to help dry them self off a little bit more. It's quiet and all you can hear are the bugs and the wind go through the tree branches. They just are sitting there in deep thought on the events that just happened. After a long time Sam decided to speak up.
Sam: well anyone have a idea on what just happened?
Rose: *shakes her head no*
Blade: besides the fact I was almost killed. Not really.
Bryan: yeah no idea.
Sam: well I know that there are a few questions that need to be answered. 1. How did it get there? 2.why did it attack us ?3. How did we not notice a huge monster was swimming underneath us this whole time?
Bryan: hm those are good questions....
Rose: maybe something or someone dropped it?
Sam: really...really.
Rose: what it could happen.
Sam: anyway....
Blade: wait Rose has a point.
Sam: she does?
Rose: I do? I mean "I do."
Blade: yeah think about it. If it was in there when we got here then we would have seen it. So something had to put it in the water.
Bryan: yeah. But who or what did?
Blade: that's what we have to find out.
Bryan: greaaaaaat.
Sam: what?
Bryan: who knows what could have put it in there and what if it's well you know *motions to Rose* stronger then her when she's pissed?
Blade: what?
Sam: never mind. But there's only one way to find out. And that is to track it down.
Bryan: awwwww man!
Blade: what's the matter
Bryan: I don't wanna find it .
Blade: suck it up and just do it.
Bryan: *pouts* fine..
Sam: alright so I say we start by looking around the edge of the water to see if something was left.
All: ok!
They search around to see if there was a mark left or something. Blade looks around down at the bottom of the cavern . Rose looks around in the bushes beside it. Sam looks in the trees . And Bryan just looks at a stick.
Sam: Bryan get to work stop "horsing around".
Bryan: hm? Oh sorry *gets to work*
Sam: *rolls here eyes*
Rose: hey I think I found something !
They all rush over and she points to a mark near the water that looks like something slid or was slid into the water along with foot prints .
Sam: nice work Rose
Rose: thanks
Blade: hm looks like this person is short or has small feet.
Bryan: what ever they must have slid the monster into the water but how it was huge?
Rose: maybe it was smaller but grew when it was in water?
Sam: hm that could be true I mean it makes since.
Blade: yeah.
Bryan: so now what?
Sam: I say let's continue our journey but keep a eye out for something odd.
Bryan: like what that *points to a bird that is eating a ribbon *
Sam: um yeah but not like that.
Rose: why is it eating a ribbon I thought they ate worms?
Blade: they do but this one idk.
Bryan: oh well probably a sper of the moment thing.
They all agree and head out.
Bryan: so where are we going?
Sam: um....
Blade: not sure
Rose: anywhere.
Sam: yeah.
Blade: but really tho do we even have somewhat of a idea of where we are going?
Sam: um no not really...
Rose: hm I heard there was some ruins near by maybe we can check them out?
Bryan: yeah that sounds like a good idea.
Sam: yep I think we should.
Blade just goes along with them cause it might be interesting. So they walk through trees and ivy and finally come to a opening and they fin the ruins of a old castle. they look at each other and head inside.
Sam: woah this is creepy
Rose: i agree.
Bryan: your not kidding.
Blade: what would a castle be doing out here in the middle of a forest?
Rose: you would be surprised what they can put in these woods.
Blade shrugs and breaks off from the group to look around the place by him self. The others don't know that he wondered off so they kept walking. Eventually Sam sees that Blade is going another direction and follows him quietly leaving Rose and Bryan to wonder around alone.
~with Bryan and Rose~
Bryan: wow this stuff is pretty cool looking *looks at the armor statue *
Rose: yeah it is *sees a painting* woah check this out! *runs over to it and he follows*
Bryan: wow look at that detail
Rose: yeah *looks around * hey where did Sam and Blade go?
Bryan: hm i don't know but they should be fine
Rose: yeah..
Bryan: come on lets keep moving
Rose: ok
They walk around and go through room after room. Each one was different and had different decorations. Rose goes into a room when Bryan wasn't looking and the door quietly closed. She looks around and notices there's a door that's seems like a closet. She walks over and opens the door and out pops a skeleton that falls on her and she screams REALLY loud and awakens the sleeping bats that where sleeping above her that she didn't notice since there was no windows. All of them opened their eyes and began to fly all around the room and attacking her. While further down the hallway Bryan hears her scream and stops , turns around and runs towards the screaming.
Bryan: Rose? Where are you?!
-from the other side of a door about like 12 feet infrequent of him she screams *
Bryan: there!*he runs and opens the door and a wave of bats come flying out of the room and he ducks* woah!
Rose: *is shivering on the floor scratched up and crying*
Bryan: Rose *runs over and takes a knee in front of her * hey you ok?
Rose: huh? *looks up and sees he right there*
Bryan: *wipes her tears off her face with his thumb* what happened?
Rose: *just looks at him then brakes down crying*
Bryan: it's ok *hugs her and consoles her while she cries*
~meanwhile with Sam and Blade~
Sam: wow this place is pretty big.
Blade: yep but why would they have this many rooms? I mean really, it makes it feel like we are in a maze.
Sam: I know right. *opens one of the doors and finds a bedroom*
Blade: wanna go in?
Sam: yeah. *smirks * you wanna go in first?
Blade: ladies first *gesters *
Sam: *laughs and walks in*
They look around and find a bed that has drapes around it. There's also a desk with old papers on it along with a picture of a girl who looks like she is 12 years old. They can't make out the name on it those and the picture is in black and white. There is also a old chandelier that was once lit with candles. The wallpaper was a now a tan color with a dark red striping on it. There was also no windows in this room.
Sam: man why are there no windows in these rooms?
Blade: I have no idea.
Sam: maybe they forgot about it.
Blade: or they didn't care.
They both crack up laughing. And walk out and down the hall again. They come to what looks like a main hall or also known as a ball room. The floor was shiny and yellow with dark yellow designs. And a old dirty piano is in the far corner. There is also a second floor that also has a railing to keep people from falling.
Sam: either these people where ritch or they where royalty.
Blade: yeah.
Sam: so now what?
Blade: I don't know *walks over to the piano and opens the lid* seems in working condition.
Sam: yeah
Sam: do you play?
Blade: kind of.
Sam: mind if I hear a song or two?
Blade: sure I will try.
Blade sits down and begins to play a song that he made up a long time ago that he has never forgoten. While Sam stands behind him listening. As he plays he in silence and all you can hear is the echo of the sound off the walls. The beautiful song was smooth and slow, it felt like a lullaby. Sam started to become sleepy but she tried so hard to stay awake.
