Angelica's P.O.V

  It was a normal day in 1st period at 8:30 AM (in my opinion, it should be illegal to wake up this early) in my science class until my teacher, Ms.Johnson, entered.

  "Ok class, I'm going to assign a project." The class groaned including me.

  "It's a partner project!" The class had smiles on their faces and were looking to one another, but that soon turned to frowns when Ms.Johnson said "but......I get to assign the partners."

  Everybody started complaining but I just rolled my eyes and didn't bother wasting my breath because I knew how stubborn she can be and that she was going to force us to have the partners she assigned for us even if we didn't like them.

"DO YOU WANT A GRADE OR NOT??!!" She snapped

It was quiet in the class room. "Good." She seemed satisfied that she got everyone's attention now. "The project will count as 50% of your whole class year for you to pass my class." Some people gasped, others were silent and widened their eyes. I, on the other hand, closed my eyes and stayed silent while putting 2 fingers on the sides of my temple because I can already feel a headache coming on.

  I don't really like to work with some of the people in my class because well, they can be such assholes to put it nicely. It sucks my best friend, Karen Juliet doesn't have this class with me.

  "The due date of this project will be at the end of the school year, so no excuses that you didn't have enough time." She gave a side-eye to a few students. "I will explain what the project is about after I assign you guys"

  Ms.Johnson started calling names for partners

" Joshua with Quentin"

"Tamia with Xavier"

"Kiana with Jaylin"

"Kayla with Vivian"

"And Angelica with Andrew."

  I cheered silently in my head, happy that I didn't end up with one of the many assholes in class. Little did I know that my life was going to change with a project that can make or break my 12th grade year.....
