Chapter 16

Zayn and I buckled up our safety vests and brought the jet skiis out to the water and hopped on.

"On your mark...." Amanda shouted as we started the jet skiis. "Go!!!!!"

Then we were off. As I was trying to beat Zayn I looked down into the clear water and saw beautiful fish and a sea turtle swimming.

Yep, it turned out Zayn won. I was to busy staring at the beautiful sea animals and yeah, he won and I lost.

"Haha I won and you lost! Haha-ha-ha," Zayn teased sticking out his tongue.

I laugh, "Hey I'd probably win if I wasn't to distracted by the beautiful sea life."

Zayn shook his head and laughed, "Girls."

"Hey!" I did a fake pout. "Your the one who married me!"

"Yes, and I'm glad I did." Zayn said grabbing my waist and pulling me close into a kiss.

"Okay, okay save it for bed guys geez!" Drew teased.

I laughed and looked at him and shook my head,"Ok so what now?"

"I do not know but you guys should go to your hotel room!" Drew started laughing.

"Drew!" I glared at him playfully.

"Anyway, I have to go," Amanda said sadly.

I nodded and Zayn and I said our 'Goodbyes'.

"So what do you have planned for us today?" Zayn asked taking my hand.

"Well I was thinking we could go to the gift shop and buy stuff for the girls and something for a memory from this trip and all from the extra money from the wedding that we raised that we agreed to use on. Then I want to go snorkel in the ocean. But once I see a shark I'm out!!" I smiled as we walked over to our beach bag.

We walked to the nearest gift shop and looked around.

What will Carly like? I mean I didn't give birth to her so I don't fully know what she is into. Yeah, yeah you guys will probably say 'Should you know what she's into? You and Zayn has been her foster parents for almost a year.' I know that. We're still putting pieces together in how her life was, I honestly don't know why it's taking this long. Please don't ask why it is.

I grabbed a cute giant teddy bear with a floral shirt. Only $20 too. "Ok I know Carly will for sure love this bear! Its even taller than her,"

"Yeah she'd really love that," Zayn began, "How about this cute little stuff parrot for B?"

I nodded, "Yeah! I think we are good! Now something for us and a thing to keep as memory."

By the way, we gave the nickname for Brit, B. Because we though it was cute.

So Zayn and I went around the store to look for things we are interested in.

What immediately caught my eye was a beautiful necklace in a shape of a moon with little gems on it with a message Love you to the moon and back on the back. Zayn was looking around for anything he liked.

"Find anything?" I asked him. "I'm getting this necklace,"

"Uhhmm," Zayn thought before turning around. "So far, no. And that necklace will look very beautiful on you,"

"Why thank you babe," I beamed.

Zayn pulled me into a hug and picked up a Bahamas mug. "Here I'll pick this mug for one thing to remember the Bahamas, Plus I like this mug,"

"Of course you do," I laughed. "Um...what about this picture frame?" It was a pretty tropical frame with little Tocans on the top.

Zayn nodded and we walked the cash register and paid $40.

We walked out when my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID.

"Who is it?" Zayn asked.

"Cheif Carden from work," I said. Did chief forget that I'm on my honeymoon? Why is he calling?

I then pressed answer.

"Cheif? What's up?" I asked.

"Malik! I thought you were coming back today!" Cheif answered.

"Carden, I said I'll be back in a few days. It's just 2 more days," I said into the phone.

"Okay, but then who will cover for you?" He freaked.

I facepalmed. "I thought Hanson was covering for me? He was a paramedic before me,"

"I told him you were coming back so I let him go back to a fighter fire..." He slowed.

"Just let him take over for me for just two days," I sighed and hung up.

I work as a paramedic at Fire Dept. 51 so it's hard keeping things up at home and keeping things organized with Carly's school stuff and finding a daycare place for Brit when Zayn starts his,music business and all.

Once we got back to our hotel room, I set the bags on the table and sat down on the stool and took out a pack of licorice and took a bite.

Walking around the beautiful beach we sat down in the sand and watched as the sun dipped into the ocean water leaving darkness. Lights were already lit, candles were lit surrounding us. Tonight is our first date as a married couple.

Hey guys. So I see no one is really interested in this book so I don't think it'll last long. And yes I know I'm not a good writer, I'm trying to work towards being a great one. Also, I know I have a lot of typos and mistakes so just please ignore them and maybe figure out what I meant to say. Lol! And I'm so sorry again for not updating all my books lately!!!! I still don't have internet back home.
