The next morning, by 9 in the morning, she got up and did her morning rituals. She wore just a plain white V-neck shirt paired with black pants and black high-cut Converse shoes. She proceeded to the kitchen to eat her brunch, a pancake topped with chocolate syrup and a glass of fresh milk will do.
While eating, she noticed the day is seem to be a little off from the site here in the kitchen. "Winter's coming darling," her inner voice said. "Yeah maybe," she answered, quite thinking of the matter.
"I wanna go back to the way we used to be... I wanna feel your skin, your lips so close to me... I wanna go back when I called you mine everytime - "
"Wait up!" She ran back to her room to answer the call leaving the dishes in the sink.
"Hey mom."
"Yeah sure. Of course. Don't worry mom. I'm on my way. Ok.. Bye." She sighed in sadness. "Might as well start now my day."
After she visited her family at their house, she drove her car to The Luxury Condos. As soon as she stepped out from her car in front of the building, she inhaled the fore-winter breeze.
"How good it is to live," she said to herself, embracing the cold wind breeze, free-spirited.
She's enjoying herself surrender in the mighty fine afternoon wind when a man disturbed her from her reverie.
"Good afternoon mam," the guard greeted her with a smile that reached his eyes, evidence of his happiness and cheerful character.
"Good afternoon too." His smile seem to give her courage and hope. "I can do this."
She gave the key to the valet man and went straight to the elevator just ahead of the front door. She didn't care to look around and see the building's interior. All she know is she need to do what she must need to do before this ends.
The elevator stopped on the 27th floor, just as where she was going to.
The hallways were in silence, expected for a wealthy establishment.
She can't help to stare at the door. Room No. 264. Her hands are already on air but she putted down her fist, stopping herself to knock.
"I can't do this," she frantically said to herself.
"No, you can do this!" her inner voice said in contrary.
She heaved out a sigh, relaxing her nerves.
"I need to do this," enthusiastically driven in her own mind.
She knocked three times. When she heard someone's going to get the door, she immediately pulled down her bull cap to hide her face.
And so the door clicked.
