After a couple of seconds, there he was in his ravishing smile that she can't forget. His deep blue eyes that she just want to stare all day long, his perfect sculptured face. "You're still my Ken after all."
Unknowingly, she was staring at the man in front of him until the man fake a cough to catch her attention.
"Ah good morning Sir. Here's a letter for you. Good day Mr. Clarkson."
She hurriedly went inside the elevator and with shaking hands and a fast thumping heart, she pressed the ground floor button.
Her heart is beating fast and hard, like it would soon get out of her body. She clench her chest to ease the pain and normalize her breathing.
"Did he notice my voice? I'm trembling for Pete's sake!"
"Hooooooh! I'm done." And a weak smile appeared on her face. "Yeah, I'm done."
She went to the White Bay Park again, self-proclaimed, she refers the park her sanctuary, her safe haven. She sat at a bench near the railings, "My favorite place," pertaining to the spot.
"At last, I've done what I must did before. I can now rest peacefully," she thought.
She closed her eyes with a refreshing smile on her face. "Winter it is." And a single tear escaped from her right eye. "I'm happy." Then she was succumb to darkness.
Few minutes passed, a weary Ken entered the park not minding the public and the media might see him. He didn't care anymore. "3 years are enough."
He searched everywhere, the corners of the park, the hall, and the high-spots. He was almost losing his hope when he remembered of the place where everything started, near the railings.

He quickly made his way and there he saw a girl sleeping peacefully in a bench. She was smiling even when at deep sleep. She looks so at peace. "She never changed," he said to himself. Tears started to spill from his eyes. "Finally!" He sat beside her, and cuddle the girl.
"Hey! I'm here already!"
He tapped her cheeks, "cold in the breeze of the approaching winter", he thought.
"Hey babe."
He shook her soft. Tears again started to fill his eyes.
The cold wind became much colder. The wind roar gently and mysteriously solemn at that very night. He tried to listen to her heartbeat but there was nothing.
"She's not breathing, her skin is pale, and she's cold. She's dead. She's already dead."
Snowflakes and snows began to rain. Winter has come, like how the coldness invade his heart realizing his lost.
He hugged her once more, for the last time.
"Why didn't you w-wait for me?"
Tears unstoppably kissed his cheeks. His shoulders were heaving terribly. He hugged her tight, he can't let go of her, at least not now.
With a trembling voice, he managed to say the words he kept for years.
"I love you... F-forever babe... Forever."
