The Fallen Gods

The air is still and the city is silent, all that is heard is the flames that surround the city buildings. "Tell me, how did you get so much power?" Lucifer asked, Tashiro stayed in silence. Lucifer getting annoyed out of his silence asked again "how did you achieve this power?". Lisa is staring at Tashiro from a burning building that had already been destroyed. Kagame watches with Alyson as she tends to his broken leg. "You little shit, you think just cause y-" "Lucifer, we are not fighting here, there will be too many people who will get hurt, we are fighting someplace else," Tashiro said in a stern voice. "You have some guts kid, telling me what to do and requesting such a laughable favor, I will enjoy killing you and when I am done with you, I will slaughter your friends as painfully as I possibly ca-" Lucifer was interrupted as Tashiro gripped his throat and lifted him into the air. A few miles down the road Tashiro sees that it is abandoned and kicks Lucifer down to the ground. News teams surround the area and helicopters film the fight. Tashiro front flips down to the floor and breaks the ground he lands on. Lucifer breaks free from the ground and gets up, "you will die here you little fuck" Lucifer said in anger. They both unleash their chains and run at each other, Tashiro dodging his attacks with ease as if Lucifer's attacks were child's play. Lucifer gets angry and shoots red pulse energy, Tashiro dodging left and right shooting black and white energy at Lucifer. Lucifer slides back and lifts his arm, the dark hole with red energy appears above Tashiro. "Take this and die!!" Lucifer screamed as he let his arm down to fire the beam. The energy shot down with excessive might. Tashiro is covered in the beam, the beam clears and Tashiro is still standing there. "What?" Lucifer was confused, "my turn" Tashiro said as he took a step forward. Lucifer swings his blade at Tashiro, their blades collide as Tashiro grabs Lucifer by the neck and tosses him into the air. Tashiro teleports everywhere he hits Lucifer, Lucifer falls to his knees. Tashiro getting up after kneeling of being too tired, "that all you got kid?" Lucifer said while huffing. Tashiro looking so sad as he gets up. Black energy and white energy spirals around Tashiro. The energy expands out making a tornado like presence at Lucifer. Lucifer cover his face with his hands from the wind. Tashiro's energy shooting up into the sky. "Witness, the power of a god," Tashiro said in the echo. Alyson twitching as she yelled, "No Tashiro don't do it!!" Reporters and survivors ask Alyson why she is screaming. "Ma'am why are you telling him to stop?" A news anchor with bruises everywhere asked. "The reason he is so powerful, is because he gave up his soul" Alyson replied in sadness. "What does that do?" A survivor asked her, "when you give up your soul, you gain an immense amount of power but at a cost" Alyson said. Kagame looked at her and asked, "what cost?" He asked. "You lose your powers as an angel, and since he is a demon as well, he loses them both" Alyson said. "So he'll be human?" Kagame asked, "yes, but..." Alyson hesitated to finish. "But?" The reporter asked, "when you give up your powers or your soul... You die" Alyson stated. Lisa's eyes grew wide as she looked at Alyson and towards Tashiro who was covered by the spiraling black and white energy. Lucifer shoots red energy at the spirals, but only powers it up more. "No! Impossible! You can't beat me! I'm the king of hell!!" Lucifer yelled. The spiraling energy is absorbed into Tashiro. Tashiro's hair grew black and long enough to cover his face. "His chains are gone," Lisa noticed. "Because he's putting all this one power Into one shot" Kagame realized. Tashiro extends his arms forward as a weapon glowing red, white and black materializes itself into his hand, the weapon having a black fire aura around it. Lucifer staring in fear as he is paralyzed. Tashiro puts the blade to his side and one foot forward. "Silent Blade" Tashiro said under his breath as everything went black for a second and Tashiro appearing behind Lucifer. Lucifer's head began to slide off as well as his arm and chest. The weapon Tashiro held began to break and materialize into the air. His hair grew shorter by the second and returned to the normal blue color. Tashiro being in the air began to fall. People gasping, Alyson catches Tashiro and flies him to the others. Alyson places Tashiro down and lays him on a wall. Lisa sits next to him and cries. "Lisa" Tashiro said in a faint voice. Lisa looked up at him, "are you alright?" He asked. Lisa nodded her head yes and Tashiro smiled. "Didn't know that I would be that one day, but... You must live on and live free" he said faintly again. Lisa crying harder as she knew what he was talking about. "Kagame, Alyson.... Take care of Lisa when I'm gone for me..." He told Kagame and Alyson. Alyson and Kagame crying as well nod their heads. "You idiot, why did you have to do that.." Alyson said with tears. "So you may all have a life to live" Tashiro replied. "Guys... You've been there for me and you never gave up on me... Thank you" Tashiro's voice became silent to the ending sentence and his eyes began to close. Lisa cried out loud as she cried on Tashiro's shoulder. "Lisa, what did he mean earlier?" Kagame asked. Lisa turned to Kagame and the survivors gathered around. "Well... I'm carrying his child" Lisa said, Kagame's face grew sad with Alyson's. Alyson and Kagame take a look at Tashiro. "You big idiot," Kagame said with a slight smile while tears ran down his face. "Goodbye Tashiro" Lisa said.
