Chapter 6 - Love Hate.

We all decided on an early night. Ashton was already upstairs and I knew he would be in my room. I walked up to the spare room, about to open the door but I turned back.

'Luke?' I asked.

'Hm?' He turned around so he was facing me.

'Will you sleep in my room'? I asked like a little child. Luke was like a brother and despite the little game we were playing I knew nothing would happen.

'Sure sweetie!' He said, before walking towards my room. Once we were in I went to brush my teeth and change into my pyjamas. When I came back into my room Luke was lying in bed in his boxers. I got in next to him and snuggled into his chest. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close.

'It's all gunna be okay princess.' I said, kissing my hair. With that we both drifted off into a deep sleep.

I woke up alone in my bed. There was a note on the bedside table, reading

'Morning beautiful! Me Cal and Mikey have gone to get food! We won't be long, Luke xx'

I slowly stood up and walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and pulled my hair back into a pony tail. I left the room and headed downstairs. I passed Ashton's room and I could hear crying. He obviously hasn't moved since yesterday. For some reason I started to feel guilty, even though he cheated on me. But in his defence I didn't really give him a chance too explain. I decided to talk to him. I wearily walked towards his door and slowly twisted the Handle until it opened. Ashton was lying face down on the bed. I don't think he heard me come in. I walked over to the bed slowly and sat on the bottom. Ashton quickly turned over and looked at me. His hair was a mess and his normally bright sparkly eyes were all red and puffy. It was obvious he had been crying.

'Ashton have you been crying? Why? What's up?' I asked rather stupidly, Realising the events of the past few days.

'Yes I have but naah I'm fine, I've just watched the girl I love leave me and hook up with my best friend but I'm just fine!' He snapped.

'Well you DID cheat on me, so you couldn't have loved me that much!' I replied, starting to get angry.

'If you'd give me a chance to explain the you'd understand..' He said sounding guilty.

'You have a minute. Go.' I said, looking at my watch.

'Okay, well I seen how close you were to Luke and it kinda made me jealous.. I know you guys are really close but the way you look at him, I want you to look at me like that.. Those girls? They ment nothing, I just wanted to make you jealous I guess? Nothing happened, as soon as I seen you leave I left them. I seen you crying in Luke's arms and I knew I'd messed things up. I went to the park and I just thought about what i'd done to you. I came back home to try and make things better and then I seen you and Luke and then the whole spin the bottle thing happened and I thought I'd lost you. You don't understand how much you mean to me. Your my world, I've waited so long for that special person and your it. When you touch me I feel all tingly. When you're near me I get butterflies, and when you kiss me I feel like the luckiest boy in the world. Your my everything Ava, and I couldn't face loosing you.. I love you..' I noticed a tear roll down his cheek. Then felt one roll down my own. I launched forward and kissed him on the lips. It wasn't a heated kiss, it was full of passion, it showed me exactly how much I meant to him, it made me feel loved.

'I love you Ash!' I whispered in his ear.

'I love you too Ava..' He replied.

'But you and Luke..?' He asked.

'Me and Luke were nothing, it was just a plan to make you jealous, nothing at all happened between us!' I said, slightly relieved to get that off my chest.
