Chapter 19 - Surprise.

Ashton planted a kiss on my forehead, and I let my eyes slowly flutter open.

"My baby has the voice of an angel," I whispered in his ear.

"And my baby has the face of an angel.." He replied. I couldn't help but giggle.

"Plans for today then?"

"I say we go green and share a shower.." He winked.

"And then get ready, grab a coffee, do a bit shopping, get some food, then I have somewhere I want to take you.."

"And where might that place be Mr Irwin?"

"That's for me to know and you to find out!" He said tapping his nose and sticking his tongue out at me.

We got up out of bed and headed for the shower. I turned on the shower and let the water fall onto my body. I was shortly joined by Ashton. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his toned torso.

"Bloody hell woman, you are the definition of perfection.." I rolled my eyes at his cheesy comments and placed my lips gently on his. Our lips slowly started moving in sync and before I knew it we were having a full on make out session in the shower. A sudden knock on the door tore us apart.

"Hurry up guys! I need to pee!" We heard Michael shout from the other side of the door. We both giggled and stepped out of the shower. I wrapped a towel around my body and brushed my teeth. I blow dried my hair and straightened it. I wore eyeliner and mascara, less is more I guess! I wore skinny jeans and a USA singlet. Ashton wore black skinny jeans and a ATL t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

"Ready?"

"Yep!" I replied, before connecting my hand in his.

We stopped at Starbucks and drank our coffees, Ashton for some reason was all lovey dovey and touchy feely, but I decided to ignore this. We done a little shopping and I picked up a new pair of sunglasses, new black high waisted shorts and a new pair of blue supras.

"Nandos or pizza hut?" Ashton asked.

"Nandos, duhhhh!" I said, playfully punching him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and whispered in my ear.

"Less of the cheek baby or i'll have to punish you.." I giggled at his comment and continued to walk hand in hand until we reached nandos. We sat at a table, ordered, and ate our food. Ashton couldn't keep his hands off me, he was constantly stroking my cheek, putting his hand on my thigh, even spoon feeding me.. It was strange.

We left nandos and Ashton took my hand in his.

"So princess, I'm gunna take you somewhere.."

"Two questions, first one, can you tell me where? And second, should I be worried?"

"Nope and nope!" He replied.

We drove for what seemed like hours before pulling up at the park where we first met. It was getting quite dark but I could see candles following a trail. Ashton ran round to my side and opened the door. As I stepped out I noticed candles all over, showing a pathway covered in rose petals.

"Did you do this?" I asked. He nodded I was shocked. He let me down closer to the little lake and stopped in front of it. He turned around to face me and I looked into his glossy, Crystal eyes. He picked up my other hand so he was holding both of my hands and he stepped towards me.

"Ava, I love you, I want to be the father to your kids, I want to grow old with you, I want to wake up next to you every morning and fall asleep next to you every night. Everyday I spend with you is a gift, and I want that for the rest of my life. You bring out a side to me that I thought I'd never see, I can't imagine my life without you in it. Before I met you, I never realised how empty my life was, now I know that we were meant to be together. Sure we've had our ups and downs but they only make us stronger. I can look into your eyes and see my future with you. Being around you makes my world complete. I want to freeze the moment and live in it forever.. I know that you're the one, you make me laugh when I can't take it anymore, you help me through anything I'm challenged by, and most of all, seeing your smile gets me through each day.."

He got down on one knee. No no no I'm not ready for this..

"Ava, will you do me the honours of being my wife?"
