3:00 P.M.
"There it is." Says Jonathan with a sigh. He looked down the hall, at Evan's room. The door was closed, but inside, you can hear then all. Laughing. Talking. Being happy.
Delirious placed his two bags of groceries on the ground gently. He didn't make a sound. He was just staring.
Tyler was just about to unlock his door. He didn't know why, but he was concerned. Jon wasn't happy. Lately, that's a bad thing. If Delirious wasn't happy, obviously something is wrong.
Tyler dared to tap Jon's shoulder, but didn't. Instead he called, "Hey."
Jon turned to him, dazed.
"You know...you can go if you want. You don't have to stay with me. Just go, talk, and Evan will accept you."
Delirious blinked. It was simple, yet he was terrified. The thought of facing Evan for real was scary. He did it once, but Vanoss just didn't think to assume that was his best friend. He had been speechless, yet Evan didn't suspect a thing.
Jonathan kneeled down, smiling. He snatched the rustly bags and holds them up high.
"I've got something more important to do."
Tyler raised a brow. He pondered before asking, "I thought...I thought you came here for Evan?"
Jon chuckled, "He's not everythin' to me, Wildcat. He has friends. He c'n go a day without me."
For the first time in a while, Tyler smiled. It was a real smile, unlike the fake ones he's been spewing all day. A full-on smile that almost made him burst into laughter. He gave a quick, breathless laugh.
"Well, alright then."
3:15 P.M.
"I can't believe we forgot to buy forks." Tyler groaned. He pinched the bridge of his nose with eyes squeezed shut. He realized his mistake when he saw Jon taking out his noodle cup. He wanted that, and Tyler was so focused on getting it for him that he forgot the essentials.
Delirious stood behind him, almost about to start whining. He remembered Tyler had a short temper. Simple forks were already pushing him over the edge, and Delirious didn't want to make that worse by complaining.
"Well..." Jon moved around the room. He rustled through bags, trying to find something. He grabbed the can of beer, and runs back to Tyler. "There's always beer!"
Wildcat looked to him with a smirk, "You say that like it's your answer to everything."
"Maybe it is?" Delirious wiggled an eyebrow and exchanged the cup if noodles with the metal can. Tyler accepts, feeling this little can would be the only thing that keeps his anger down.
[EDIT: I DIDN'T REALIZE I SAID "LITTLE CAN". THAT WAS AN ACCIDENT BUT I'M LAUGHING.]He cracked the lid open while sighing.
"By the way....thanks." He says.
Jon was barely grabbing his drink when he stopped. His eyes flash up to Tyler, and Tyler almost forgets how blue they are.
"For what?" Asked Jon.
"For not leaving me. Back there, y'know?"
Delirious smiled sweetly. His smile was so big and lit that it made his eyes squint.
