6:00 P.M.

"Evan asked if you wanna hang." Jon asked lightly. Tyler was still scrolling through his phone, purplosly blocking any outside world.

"Tyler."

No answer.

"Tyler!"

"What?" He groaned, still focused on his phone, but at least he was listening.

"Evan's asking if we wanna hang out."

Jon saw Tyler pause his scrolling. He might've been reading something, but he hoped Tyler would be thinking of his decision. Right now, all Tyler could think of was staying here. He had no reason to stay here though. He couldn't think of a reason, yet he shook his head as if he did.

"No. I'm not going, you can if you want." Tyler concluded. Delirious was surprised. He had already typed out his answer in agreement, but didn't send.

"You don't?"

"No, I'm tired still, remember?"

Jon cocked his head and sighed, "I don't wanna go either."

He deletes what he typed, and rewrites.

Nah :)

6:30 PM

"So are you going to get yourself a room, or am I going to have to baby sit you for three days?"

Jon smirked, "When you put it like that, I guess I'll stay."

He was purplosly trying to annoy Tyler, as always. Wildcat scoffed, "My ass."

"I don't have any money." Jon whined. He dropped the teasing tone and was now serious. "I was supposed to be here for a day, remember?"

Tyler remembers. He decided he couldn't just tell Delirious to go home. That was his first impulse but the filter on his mouth was still switched on.

"Babysitting it is."

7:30

Delirious watched the clock. The numbers flashed red on and off for every second that passed. He had never seen a digital clock do this. He sat, watching every second blink itself on and off until a minute passed. His arms were folded and his head rested upon them on the small bedside drawer.

One. Two. Three.

Four. Five. Six.

7:40

"Jon, it's almost eight."

"Hm?"

"Stop staring at that thing." Tyler says beside him. He was trying to watch TV, but having Jon just sit there beside him for more than 30 minutes made him nervous. "Go eat something."

Delirious counted another ten seconds and hops to his feet as the clock turned into 7:41. Tyler stood up and moved to the micro wave. Worrying about Delirious made him hungry.

Jonathan joined his side. "Did you know the clock blinks b'cause it's countin' seconds?"

"I do now." Tyler says very unamused. Delirious didn't mind the tone of voice, he went on.

"Never seen a clock do 'dat before."

Tyler started chuckle. His voice always became high-pitched when he laughed. "Why do you do that?"

"Do what?" Jon blinked.

"Talk like you do." He says, "You make such obvious slurs."

Delirious starts to tug the end of his sweater again.

"Dunno."

"It's not bad or anything, "Tyler was smiling, "I don't mind it."
