Can we just Date: the tale of Rose Weasley

Rose Weasley is used to all the attention that is a part of being a Weasley. Especially being the daughter of Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. She remembers when was she was a kid and Hugo was just a baby, she had gone to The Diagon Alley with Uncle Harry and Uncle George. They were surrounded by the reporters and were asked a lot of questions. Not that the 3 year old understood what all the chaos meant. But Uncle Harry seemed really angry and had asked the reporters not to disturb the "quiet outing".

Back to the present. The same Rose Weasley was hiding behing the tapestries. Hiding from her cousins, infact. Seems like the Wotters(Weasleys and Potters)have taken a liking to her love life.
"Date-life", she muttered.
It happened after she came back from Hogsmeade today. Once she stepped inside the common room, she saw James and Fred pacing in front of the fire. Dom, Roxy and Lily was occupying the couch. Louis was sitting besides two timid first years. Hugo and Albus were trying not to stare at her but were unsuccessful. Molly was playing Gobstones with Lorcan. A pair of fifth years wre snogging away at the steps leading to the dorms.
"Rosie! What were you thinking-", said James when he saw her
"Going to Hogsmeade with Scorpius Malfoy?", finished Fred.

The usually calm Roxy also seemed quite disturbed.
"You know that our Uncles hate the Malfoys, Rosie"
"Uncle Harry doesn't hate them!", Rose answered, her eyes throwing daggers at her cousins.
"He does. He is just not as expressive as dad", Hugo replied with a snort.

"Look, Scorp is not-

"Oh! So he is Scorp now. Then what! You will ask him to spend Christmas with us" , Fred didn't let her finish.

"Maybe I wil".

"Look. Weasleys donot go out with Malfoys. We stay away from them in the dating department " James tried to reason with her.
"Besides", said Hugo, "We donot want to see you getting married to the ferret family."
"That will be a slur on the family", Fred said.
"And you would never hurt Uncle Ron." Even Albus piped up."Or dad.Or Uncle George. Or Grandad".

"SHUT UP ALL OF YOU!!!"
"I just went on a date with Scorp. Just a date. Dn't you all understand. For God's sake, we are all still in Hogwarts. And who thinks of marriage this early. I ,for once, am definitely not planning my marriage this soon. I see people for fun. Not to get married-

The rest of Rosie's speech was drowned by the high pitch scream led by Roxy and Dom who tackled her to the ground.  James, Fred too joined Roxy and Dom. Hug and Albus looked like they have won a Quidditch match.

"Thanks Merlin", Lily muttered.

After the happy scene, Rose ran off to her dorm and explained the confrontation to Alice Longbottom. Her best friend. Then deciding that she need to clear her head, she sneaked out of the Gryffindor common room.

And is now on the third floor, musing, as she tends to when she needed to escape reality. Boyfriends. Ex-boyfriends to be precise.
