Chanel

Jenna didn't come back last night, and I was kind of worried. She always came straight back and made sure we had practice.

I made up my mind and decided to go over to her house.

"Jen?" I called out. Her mom was probably already at work and Dan was already at school.

I made my way up to her room to find her sprawled out all over her bed, snoring. I rolled my eyes and jumped on her.

"JENNA MAY!" I yelled. "What?" She mumbled into her pillow.

"Where did you go yesterday? You never came back," I asked. "Cooper cheated on me," she whispered as her eyes glazed over. Our eyes met, and I immediately knew how upset she was.

"C'mere," I mumbled as I hugged her tight. As we hugged, her phone went off. I reached over and grabbed it, thinking it was that asshole Cooper.

ashton: morning jen !!

I looked at her with a questioning look. "Who's Ashton?"

"A guy I met yesterday," she said sheepishly. I just nodded, still left in the dark on the subject. My eyes fell on the phone screen as she messaged him back.

jen: hey homie

ashton: whats up?

jen: with chanel. how about you? any of the guys with you?

ashton: i see how it is. you just want to get close to me so you can get them huh? :((

jen: lol sure m8

She laughed as she read his texts. I couldn't believe it. She was in love with Cooper! Not even twenty-four hours after the breakup, she's already smiling and laughing.

"Is this Ashton fellow cute?" I asked, curiously. Because, hot guys have hot friends. Hey, can't blame a girl for trying.

"Why don't you see for yourself?" She quizzed. I gave her a confused look.

She closes out of imessage and went to google. She then showed me the search results.

My eyes gazed over all the headlines and pictures. "Ashton Irwin? As in the drummer from 5SOS?"

She nodded with a grin on her face.

"Ask him if Luke will date me!" I joked. She laughed, but still did it. "Jen!"

jen: does luke wanna go out with chanel? she's hungry for some breadstick lol

"Whaat?" She giggled. I shook my head and rolled my eyes. Soon, I joined in on the giggle fest. Then, there was a new message notification.

ashton: this is luke. i aM nOT a brEADstiCk ! and is chanel hot

jen: this is chanel and i do consider myself kinda hot

ashton: maybe you should just give me your number ;)

jen: it's xxx-xxx-xxxx

"Are you done hogging my phone?" Jenna asked, annoyed, but tickled. I nodded and added Luke in my phone.

chanel: hey luke! it's chanel

luke: hey. whats happening

chanel: chilling *insert picture from above*

luke: hey ur hot. im hot. lets be hot together ;)

chanel: arent you supposed to be an awkward breadstick? not a flirty penguin?

luke: i have two sides. AND I AM NOT A BREADSRICK

chanel: obvi bc you cant even spell breadstick

luke: shut up

chanel: no

luke: it was worth a shot

chanel: your band sucks

luke: thank god im not the only one who thinks that!

chanel: xD

luke: if i picked the band name, it would have been luke and the prostitutes who stand behind him

chanel: o shit

chanel: my band sucks too dont feel bad

chanel: yeah with jenna and my other friends hayley and carrie. we kinda suck
