Heartbreaker

Chapter 1: Summer

Payton's POV:

"Riley, can you believe that is summer is here? We made it! Summer here we come.", I asked as we're leaving school and have just finished our last final.

It's been a ruff week studying and preparing for two finals each day. It's a hot Friday, one of the most hottest days in May and what great way to spend the most hottest and last day of school then going to the pool.

We rushed to our flat, got our suits, towels, sunglasses, everything to make this a great day! We race to the car, blast up the radio, and have the roof top open. feeling the sun and breeze hit our faces is making us excited about summer.

As we arrived our Josh, one of our closest friend, is in line for the pool. I guess he read our minds. As I turn off the car Riley  is already up and out of the car before I can say anything. She gets grabs her stuff and when I say her stuff I mean she just grabs a towel and leaves me with the rest. What a great friend she is. She hurries to get in line before it gets packed and takes Josh's spot as he comes over to helps me with the rest of the stuff.

"Why do you guys always bring a whole bunch of crap when you guys don't even need half of this?" he says with a smirk on his face.

"It's better to have it then not to need it, then to need it and not have it. You should know that about me by now." I say while laughing.

We stand by the car in that awkward silence until we hear, "Can you guys hurry it up? I'm about to go in!"  says Riley as she is tapping her foot and has her right hand on her hip.

"Alright we're coming! Jeez woman." I say as Josh and leave the car. 

Riley's POV:

THANK GOD FINALS ARE DONE!! I'm sick and tired of studding for these stupid exams. They are so damn pointless, well at least we don't have to see those teacher again until August.

Payton is more excited about summer as much as I am, which is a given because most summer don't end up good for her as much as she hopes for. Hopefully this summer is different than the others. She got her driver's license on her birthday, so we have been all over the place and having the time of our lives, kind of.

She drives us to your flat and grab our swim suits, towels, and what not. For me I think she over packs and does thing, MOST of the time. Ha! Ha! While she is upstairs I take the liberty to call our friend Josh to see if he's free to come swimming with me and Payton. Thank God he was 'cause he could use a break from this movie star act that he is; been busy with the movie EPIC and the newest Hunger Games' movie, Catching Fire.

I'm trying to hurry up with the conversation as possible before Pay comes down. Damn he talks too much sometime. Payton and Josh have been friends for as long as I can remember, there mom's were really tight, best friends really, so Josh and Pay would do EVERYTHING with each other all the time. So they say.

For me, I've become friends with them since the third grade and hopefully forever. They were and are the only ones got to know me and known me better than anyone else, more than I know myself which was creep in the beginning but have gotten used to it. Well mostly Payton because well, something should be kept to us girls if you know what I mean.

As we pulled up to the pool, I saw that Josh got there before us so I got out if the car before I had to carry all this crap Pay brought. Aye don't get me wrong, I carried what I had brought but she brought like another extra bag and a big one which I wasn't going to carry. So I told josh to go get it while I stand in line for the three of us. As he went I to go help I couldn't help but to see a bolt in happiness as she saw him walk up to her. Call me crazy but I've been having this feeling that these two might have a thing for one another....I don't know and don't care non of my business. I just let them be and if anything were to change I'll be here like a loner. Just kidding I'll find myself a man, but in the mean time things are going to remain the same. Line is moving, YES FINALLY! Dammit they're still over there I'm not going to stay another minute in this line.

"Can you guys hurry it up? I'm about to go in!"  I tell them trying to get their attention.

                                                   5 hours later

Payton's POV:

Nothing says 'Hello Summer!' than a good tan starting up. Had a real good time with Josh been awhile since we talked of hanged, and when I say hang I mean a good old American hang-out without the paparazzi popping out and being noise. Feels good more like the old days, and to top that Josh treated us to a pizza at Giordano's! Ry and I LOVE that place and the pizza there is amazing, but being in a public place sometimes has it's perks...fans mainly. What can I say they are crazy about him, but Riley and I just sat and waited until the food came 'cause we were starving. haven't ate since 8am. Girl needs some food in the stomach, and not talking about me. FINALLY....FOOD!!

We got the 14" pan crust pizza with the most amazing cheese in the inside and outside of the crust, sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, garlic, and jalapeno. It's so good, haven't had one since forever! While eating we Riley and I talked about classes that we are having next year, and seeing if we might have classes together. If we do, well then the class will be interesting as it was in Health class and lunch, along from talking about school, Josh was telling jokes left and right which was hard for me to eat with all the laughing, made me stomach hurt. Looks like I won't be eating until we get home. Also catching up on the latest Hollywood Gossip and hook ups.

In the end I just like being with my best friends especially seeing Josh, things have been a little ordinary. Don't know how to really explain it just that he changes things up a little for me and Riley, things aren't same much of a routine. After dinner Josh has talking me into watching a late night movie but I can see that Ry is tired out and me as well and it's late as it is so maybe next time or tomorrow.

Josh's POV:

I admit, don't really want the night to end. It's been a long time since I have had a day let along a night to spend it to myself and to how I want to be with. I was really happy to get Riley's call to the pool and hearing her voice too. REALLY tired of hearing the voice of my manager and TV show people and etc. Just talking to an old friend made me feel relaxed and not like a big time movie person. And seeing Payton and hanging out with her and Riley made my day and felt like we were in elementary school again, weird I know but back then I was a normal person and would got to friends houses after school. The day was just what needed. Wish the day was longer but I can tell that the girls were tired out and it's already 11pm plus we all had a long day. Not to mansion still need to plan for my party that I'm having tomorrow, going to be a BLAST! SHIT....I totally forgot to tell Ry and Payton.

Well I'm glad to say that I just did the first chapter of my first book....YAY!! I'm bummed that it's took me awhile to do. I promise the story won't drag as much and will be starting on the next chapter soon but I need reads for me to continue. SO read, tell friends, vote, and leave comments and suggestion on what I should do to change or improve or what ever it is you will like to see etc. Like I said first book.....hope it's good for your liking. More secrets and truth will be coming about in later chapters. I'll try to have the next chapter updated before the end of the month.
