I gasped in awe as we slowly approached the endless groups of glowing fish, which were swimming around, clearly not bothered by our presence. If I thought that the group we were following was a lot, then I was clearly wrong. Beyond them were TONS of glowing fish, minding their own business as they swam at the surface of the water. I examined them carefully, hopeful that I won't bother or scare them away. But it wasn't that hard to do, only because they didn't seem to mind. I stared at them, their scales letting out a golden hue that captivated me, and as I looked at the others, I noticed that they had their distinctive colors. A few were red, orange, green, but they all had that glow to them. There were so many, their colors awing me, making it seem like I had just found Bora Bora's secret hidden treasure.

I looked over at Tyler, his grin wider than before upon seeing my reaction. If this is what he promised me, then it was a lot more impressive than I had originally thought.

I looked around the fish, and as I looked down at the waters, I realized that the fish didn't only offer their beauty. I looked down at the depths below, seeing the very clear, lit up ocean bottom. Shocked, I stared at it, seeing that there really were that many fish since they didn't light up a little spot. Even if it made me slightly anxious at how far we were from the bottom, I looked at the other fish that were below them, the only difference about them was that they didn't light up.

"Impressive, right?" Tyler asked. I had to be honest, for a moment I forgot he was there with me.

I looked at him, "Yeah it is. . . How did you find it?"

"I was out by the deck and I saw them. And I just had to show you." Tyler got close to me, making the hairs on my body stand at an end.

"Why me though?" I tried my best not to sound so nervous, but it was hard. I could basically feel him pressed against me, and such closeness made me uncomfortable.

"Because," I tensed when hearing his voice so close to my ear. "These fish, this sight in general, is as beautiful as you."

Great, I've been called beautiful by my two best friends today. . .

It wasn't exactly the same day, but it was still, surprising, to say the least. But it just wasn't the same thing. There was something in the way Evan told me it, he made it sound as if I was actually the only woman on earth that was that special. But Tyler. . .

"And before you tell me that it's not true, i-it is! Nothing can compare to you." He said breathily, doubling my uneasiness. At this point I didn't know whether to cringe or look at him weird, since this was way too cliche for my liking.

"Uh. . . Thank you for the compliment. . . I'm flattered." I lied, trying not to sound too harsh. "Thank you for showing me this though, really, it was great."

I could imagine Tyler's genuine smile forming again from behind me, "No problem. . . It was my pleasure."

At this unpleasant moment, I felt Tyler's fingers touch my chin, and I went into full-on internal panic mode. I stiffened when feeling him turn my head -- or me in general -- to face his direction. His eyes gave me a friendly look as he closed them, the space that used to be in between us was not even there anymore.
