Rachel's POV:

___________________________________________________________

I had just sat down with Callean on my right and a new boy on my left. The new boy was tall, brunette and had curious, aquamarine eyes. He was quite shy and he never spoke a word or even looked up from the computer. If he wrote a wrong word all he would whisper was "damn..." and hold his hand over the screen and swipe his hand until he reached the other side of the screen and all the errors were fixed. I turned around to ask him how he was but I didn't even have to speak all he said was "fine.". I was just thinking how he knew what I was about to say when a thought, that I didn't think, popped into my head saying, 'I can read minds. Now don't question it!'. I was thinking who I got this from and if they could do anything else when yet another thought, that I didn't think, came to me, 'I'm Jake, the boy sitting next to you, and I can read minds, control water and technology.'. So I glance over to my left to see him starring at my temples as if he was sending me another thought.

I watched the boy control the computer and I tried to send him a message but I couldn't, so I just thought that it would be really funny if Jake could play around with the projector considering that he could control technology. The first words I had ever heard come out of Jake's mouth were, "Sounds fun, Let's do it!" As the teacher opened up her Internet web browser, Jake made the screen shake, the Internet to go down for her computer and her computer to never work again. Jake and I started laughing at the sight of the computer. I thought that was hilarious and we should do that again sometime and Jake said, "Definitely! Fist bump!". So we fist bumped and continued on with our work, I checked over my shoulder every few minutes to see him swiping his screen and sending messages to the keyboard so that he didn't have to write. I thought it was pretty cool knowing someone who could do those things!
