Rachel's POV:

________________________________________

Class had just finished and we all walked outside the school grounds to find that Jake's powers had changed...instead of being able to control technology, he just makes the technology worse and worse. At break Grace, Antonio, Callean, Jake and myself all started to head up to the nearest shopping centre but before we made it there Jake's powers started to go crazy! First he sent Antonio a message, from his phone, that read 'Nothing will ever be the same!', second he sent me a thought that read, "Seriously you like Grace?" and Callean an email that said 'Can't you see? I'm different!". Eventually he got all of his powers confused and started to swipe his hand across the school, pretending that it was a computer screen, and deleted everything that was an error...The principal, the deputy-principal and the school in general! The school bursts into flames as the electricity goes crazy, for the students in the school it is a race to get out. I try and stop Jake from causing anymore damage but, everyone else just stands still staring at the burning building, knowing that we can't do anything! I grab Jake's hands and pull him to face me but, it back fires and he shoots sparks straight to my stomach and I fall to the ground!

Everyone is standing over me when I wake from my coma, Jake is crouching beside me and something in his eyes is different....Jake's eyes were a bright, aquamarine blue but, now they are indescribable...something in him is different, something broke and it can't be fixed. Somehow I know this, not sure why...Maybe I have the power healing, I've heard of it before but never experienced it. I dove into his soul, found what was broken inside of him and yanked myself out, not wanting to dive any further. As soon as I resurface I tried to stand up but my stomach was burning inside and out. Jake could sense my pain and splashes water on to my stomach, easing the pain. I look back to the school and there is nothing, not even any rubble. I can only vividly remember the way the school burnt to ash. I tried to save Jake but I think I broke him more...
