Reaching For The Stars

Chapter One: Cassidy

Cassidy walked down the hallways of her new school with a smile on her face her bag on her back and her guitar in her hand. Today was her first day at her new school Farnsworth High, which is a music school. Her long curly blond hair bouncing with each step she took. Her blue eyes had a sparkle in them.

She turns the corner and keeps on walking towards her first class music history, ready to learn about Famous Composer of the past like Mozart. Her Favorite song playing on her iPhone whose pink headphones were in Cassidy's ears. 

She sees room 257 and walks towards it. A guy walking towards the class too holds the door open for her.

"Thanks." She says smiling and pulling one of her headphones out of her ear.

"No problem Blondie." He says Smiling back at her.

She finds an open seat by the window and sits down setting her guitar down and taking her backpack of and putting it next to her guitar. She takes her other headphone out and wraps them around her phone before putting her phone in her backpack; she gets a notebook out and a few pencils too. She was ready for the day.

The rest of the class files in and not soon after the teacher shows up she walks over to the board and writes her name Ms. Grace before turning to the class.  "Hello Class my name is Ms. Grace, to start out the year im going to show you some videos that my son showed me they're from this internet series called Epic Rap Battles of History."

A few people cheered, she smiled and pulled down the screen before walking over to the computer.

Cassidy watches the videos laughing. They were funny. The rest of the class is kind of boring but Cassidy managed to stay awake the whole class.

She packs up her stuff at the end of class and walks to her next class Math. Cassidy does not like math at all, it was not her best class either.  The only seat open in her math class was right in the front.  Cassidy sighs and walks to the seat.

There was a girl sitting next to her with has curly just past the shoulder dark brown hair. She is wearing it down. She has dark mocha brown eyes, and tanned skin, a cheeky smile, and a surfer's body. She has no dimples, or freckles, but she has a birthmark that looks quite similar to a burn on her left wrist.

"Hey im Cassidy," she says smiling at the girl.

"Im Kendall." She says smiling back she points to the two boys behind her "these are my brothers Andrew and Logan,"

"Nice to meet you three." She says smiling

Cassidy and Kendall talk until the teacher gets to class. After class they walk to lunch together and sit down at a table. Another girl walks up to them she has black hair with bangs and she has a bunch of multi-colored feathers and says "can I sit with you two." 

 Cassidy looks at Kendall before saying "Sure, Im Cassidy and that's Kendall."

"Im Georgia but you can call me Gee."  She says sitting down next to Cassidy

"Okay Gee." Cassidy says smiling.

"Are you new here? I haven't seen you around." Georgia asks

"Yeah." Cassidy replies before taking a bite of her apple.  "Just transferred here."

"Cool." Kendall says

After Lunch is song writing which Kendall and Georgia don't have.

Once the teacher is in the room she asks "does anyone have a song they would like to sing?"

Cassidy is raises her hand

"Miss Adams would you come up to the front of the class." Mrs. Ryan asks
