Chapter Two

Georgia grew up in a very small family; just her, her mother, father and brother, not a lot considering most of her family was couples with up to eleven kids. She was a happy kid, but also kind of shy around new people, so she didn't have a lot of friends growing up. That came later on, though.

Her parents, James and Mary, were a happy couple. Her mother was first with a guy named Thomas, but they broke up and she found James. They are loving parents and hardly ever fight. She has one older brother, Jonathan, by nine years, who her mother got with Thomas.

When he was three Mary and Thomas broke up and when he was six, Mary found James. Three years later Georgia came along. She has a love/hate relationship with school; she loves being able to see her friends and the creative classes are great, but when it comes to things like math and English and PE, she hates it more than anything.

To the people around her, she seems happy. She seems like she could conquer anything that might try to knock her down. But in reality, she's scared. Scared of a lot of things, stupid things like growing up and pigeons. The thing people would expect the least is her insecurities. She always seems happy; living in the moment, when in real life, she is aware of everything she does. She tries not to laugh too much so she doesn't snort or make an ugly face, she feels fat and she feels like all of her friends are too good for her. Like she's under everyone's league.

In school she is friends with some very popular, but sweet, girls. She is also considered popular, but only because she's their friends. There's nothing special about her that makes her popular, only the people she is with.
