This is who I am
This is who I have to be,
hiding behind this smile of lies
too afraid to go outside;
lost and all scarred up,
look at the mess I've made
how can I fix what I've become?
No one understands
the darkness that races within
So many times I've tried to say goodbye;
So many attempts, I've failed tonight.
I'll just go back and relapse again
not like there's anyone to show me what's right?
Put up a smile to hide all my faults
Never gonna let them see these tears fall
trying to hide from all these adults;
Hopefully get some sleep at night
and dream of broken butterflies.
