The Beginning

  (Y/n) wasn't always like this. You used to have friends, a family, and were social. That all changed. A year ago, your father and mother were having a simple conversation about work while you sat in the backseat of the car. Both of your parents were very safe drivers, so what came next was a shock.

CRASH!!



You woke up, and tried to recall what happened. Where am I? You opened your eyes only to see the dark. It must be night... And with out questioning, you feel back to sleep.
"...the car.... Both were............ambulance................dead...." You were half awake when you heard some of a conversation. What are they talking about? You soon fell back into an unwanted slumber.



Finally, you were able to stay up for longer than a few seconds! Yet somehow, it was still night. I just have bad luck don't I? You waited for what seemed like hours. Eventually, you heard someone near you.
"Excuse me?" You spoke out into the night.
"Yes ma'am?" A very polite, and feminine voice responded.
"May I ask what time it is? My watch doesn't seem to work." Earlier, when you tried to get your watch that's face lights up to work, it never blinked to life.
"Oh. Well I believe it is around... 2:30."
"That explains the dark!" You exclaimed. It is quite dark around 3 o' clock.
"It's 2:30... In the afternoon..." The woman's voice was slightly hinted with concern.
2:30 in the afternoon? That's impossible. It's so dark out! You had no idea how that was possible.
"Do you not remember?" The woman asked. You could feel her body near yours somewhere to your left.
"Remember what?" You were confused. Did some random sciency thing change it so that night was day and day was night?
"Oh! I'm... I'm so sorry!!" Her voice shook as if she were scared or about to cry. Then you heard the heels of someone's shoe running off. Almost immediately after, some one else approached where you were.
"Miss (l/n), I am Doctor Reyne. What do you remember last ?" The voice was a soothing male's. He seemed quite calm knowing how the moon and sun got misplaced in the sky.
You thought for a second, and remembered what you were doing before you fell asleep. "Oh god!! My parents were driving me to a party!!! I think I fell asleep!" Oh no!! Now Sadie (or whatever you want your friends name to be) will get mad!!
Doctor Reyne stuck out his hand and gently placed it on your shoulder. How could he find your shoulder so easily? "(Y/n).... I'm sorry, but you got in a car crash before you reached your party. Both of your parents died upon immact."
"What? .... That's impossible!! My parents are great and responsible drivers!!" You were shocked. They have never gotten in an accident before!
"You were hit by someone on the wrong side of the road. I'm very sorry, but that's not all." The man's hand started to grip your shoulder lightly. "You received a blow to the head, but no other injuries. It caused blood to flow to your brain and that damaged some of your nerves..."
He stopped, as if unable to continue on. "So! What did it do?" Suddenly, it dawned on you. You remember seeing the bright red car swerving in front of us, and all the blood and screaming. You understood... You were...
"....You're blind."
