Every song of sadness
is out there to tell you"We have survived"
I met a boy
I wanted to steal and hide away
where nothing could hurt himbut he outstretched his hands
and told me
"see, this is the pain of living"and I remembered
beautiful people don't just happenWhat if he had given up on himself?
Something so precious
lost in the sea
deeper and deeper
I can't imagineSomeone will find you
It doesn't matter how lost you are
if you keep moving
you'll meet a way
out of the wastelandSo sing it out loud
that song of sadness
to scare the bears
out of their sleep
they will hear
Your brave roaring voice"We have survived"
"We had no choice"
"If you take this train, don't be afraid"
"Get on board"
"Please live on"
"Days will grow longer"
"Somebody's waiting""We all are here
because we are needed"
