Chapter 13- Goodbye Studio

Riley POV
Its been a week and Im at home. I have dance tomorrow, so I should practice. I do a pirouette, but my stomach hurts.
"Ahhh" I scream.
"Riley, what's wrong?" Emily asks.
"Yeah, I just tried a dance move..."
"Riley, you can't!"
"Why? A lot of people get appendix operations and they continue dancing!"
"Riley, listen... We didn't want to tell you, but you had a really bad case of appendix. It exploded. You won't be able to dance for two months..."
"But Internationals is in 1 month! I need to compete! "
"Riley, if you compete you have 3/4 chance to get a stomach hit! Do you want that to happen in the stage?!"
I know Emily doesn't understand. I mean, she is a professional dancer, so she has her life on a plan. But for me Internationals is very important.
"Fine...."
But its not fine!

Riley POV
Right now, Im going to my parents. I want to dance and I don't care what they say!
"Moooommmmmmm!"
"Yes honey?"
"Why didn't you tell me I can't dance anymore?!"
"Honey..... Who told you?"
"Emily....."
"Well, its true. You are not going to dance anymore!"
"I will dance! I don't care what those doctors say! I will continue to dance....."
"Yes you will! Next year!"
"I need to go to Internationals!"
"Well, you're not going! End of story!"
"Ughhhhhhhh!"
I go in my room and lock myself in.

Tomorrow
Kate POV
Today, we are rehearsing the finals routine. Riley its not here... Its been a week since that happened and she should be here, at least to watch the dances.
"Hi guys!" Riley says.
"Riley!!!" Everyone go and hug her.
"I want to tell you something. Since now and on, I will not dance anymore for a year.."

Riley POV
It was a big and tough decision to make, but it was the right one. Everyone got upset. 
"Are you sure?"
"Yes" I say.
"Okay then... We will miss you!"
I go out and watch them dancing.

Riley: James, you can't quit the studio!
James: I will!

Riley: No you don't!

James: Im so happy we are back together!
