"Are you still mad at me? Eleanor asked while I was brushing my hair getting ready for school.

"Yes I am Eleanor," I sighed deciding to put my hair up in a pony tail instead of having it down like usual.

"I said I was sorry, like a thousand times." I rolled my eyes at her exaggeration.

"Mom, Mike and I were really worried when you didnt come home. I covered your sorry ass telling them you were at the libary studying." I told her walking into the kitchen grabbing an apple.

Eleanor had her weird thinking face where she scrunched up her nose, furrowed her eyebrows and pursed her lips. It was actually kind of cute, unlike me where I just scrunched up my face and looked like an old hag.

"What made you call Aiden anyway?"

"I called everyone else, including Xander who thankfully gave me Aiden's number." I explained and she smiled sheepishly.

"Girls hurry up I'm driving you guys today!" Mike yelled and we grabbed are bags and headed out the door.

"Violet, for the love of god please shut up." I groaned. Since we got into the car Violet had not shut about this boy and it was driving me crazy.

"But he's so handsome." She sighed and I looked at Eleanor and we rolled our eyes. Puppy love.

Mike decided to drop us off first thank god, I couldn't take Violet's rambling anymore and I don't think Eleanor could either.

"Hey girlies." Jade greeted us looping arms with us.

"Hey hoe." Eleanor and I greeted her at the same time.

"I am no hoe," she glared at us when suddenly she was ripped away from us and we looked to see Carter kissing Jade passionately.

"Awkward." Eleanor muttered her face going beat red.

"Well good morning to you to, Carter." I said sarcastically when they pulled away breathing heavily.

"Morning." Carter gave us a head nod recasting his head on Jade's shoulder.

"Oh my god! Elliot! Eleanor!" Peter came running up to us freaking out.

"Wow dude, what happened? Are your skinny jeans to tight? I told you not to go any smaller." Eleanor tsked Peter shaking her head.

"No...no! That's not it!" He yelled and I jumped in surprised at how loud he was.

"Then why are you so worked up?" Jade asked leaning into Carter.

"There's four more new kids from Aiden's pa- I mean school here and three of them are boys!" He squealed in excitement and we all rolled our eyes.

"Why does everyone I talk to seem to always talk about boy? 'But he's so hot!" I said in high pitched voice copying my younger sister. Eleanor laughed while everyone one looked at me weirdly.

"Who's hot?" I gasped when Xander suddenly came up behind me.

I looked at him and he had his green eyes trained on me, but they weren't just green. I could see black swirling in his eyes and this wasn't the first time I've seen it.

"Earth to Elliot." Someone waved their hand in my face breaking me from my thoughts.

"Huh?"

"Who's hot?" Xander asked again, but his jaw was now more clenched.

You. I thought and my cheeks immediately went red at that thought.

"Uh no one, I was just repeating what my younger sister said this morning." I told him and he raised his eyebrow, not believing me.
