I was standing in line at the cafeteria waiting to grab Eleanor the food she wanted.

"Elliot!" I turned to see my mom walking towards me smiling softly.

"Hey mom." I greeted her and she hugged me. I was surprised, but hugged back rubbing her back soothingly.

"She's fine mom, she's a tough nut to crack." I smiled whipping my moms tears from her face.

"I know I know it's just I swear you two will be the death of me." She said laughing. Mike soon showed up with Ethan and Violet.

"Elliot is Eleanor okay?" Violet asked me worry across her features.

"Yup!" I gave her thumbs up and she sighed in relief hugging Mike.

"Elliot you should go home with Mike, I'll stay here with Eleanor." Mom said and I looked at her with unsure thoughts.

"Mom, I-" She cut me off by placing her hand over my mouth.

"Go home." She told me and I nodded my head.

Mike gave my mom a peck on the lips before we headed to the car and headed home. It was dark by the time we got home and I suddenly felt really tired. When I got to my room I turned my phone and found like one hundred texts and calls from everyone. I texted them back telling them she was fine, but I decided to call Xander.

"Hello." He answered his voice sounding groggy. I probably woke him up.

"Hey." I whispered softly laying down on my bed.

"Elliot," he said surprised. "How's Eleanor?"

"She's good, I was sent home by my mother." I pouted and he chuckled.

"Ya and what can I do to help?" He asked and I could just picture him smirking.

"Well..." I bit my lip. "We could hang out tomorrow."

The line went silent for a second before I heard a thud and a line of cuss words.

"Xander are you okay?" I asked sitting up slightly.

"Uh ya just peachy." He replied and I couldn't help but laugh.

'Hey! Don't laugh at me." He yelled through the phone.

"I-I'm sorry." I laughed.

"Anyway about us hanging out how about you come over tomorrow." He suggested and took a deep breathe.

"Sounds good." I answered a smile spreading on my face.

"It's late and you need some sleep beautiful," he said and I felt sad that we had to say good bye.

"Ya good night, Xander." I was about to hang up when I heard him say.

"Sweet dreams beautiful." And guess what, I did have sweet dreams.

The next morning Violet went to a friends, Ethan said he had plans which I could not know what they were and Mike went to check up on my mom and Eleanor so I guess I would head to Xander's earlier then I was planning.

The drive was one I always enjoyed since it was so far out the scenery was beautiful. The trees and meadows and lakes were so pretty that I begged my mom and Mike to move out here, but they preferred to live in town close to work. Summer was around the ben and I couldn't wait for grad or our last summer tradition before we all go to collage.
