Ever since that night, Alexia and Noah began secretly dating. Fortunately, Kayla didn't suspect a thing about them, but she would soon, and Alexia and Noah both knew it.
In the few dates Alexia and Noah had had for some nights after that night they kissed, Alexia discovered that Noah only began dating Kayla because Alexia wanted him to, and he wanted to make her jealous. She discovered that he liked her all along, ever since they met in fourth grade when they were paired up for a science lab. She discovered that she liked him also; she just didn't realize it until now.
She loved him. He loved her.
This couldn't get any more perfect.

It was a Tuesday, and it had been a week and three days after that night when Alexia and Noah kissed. Tonight was the third night that Noah would be taking Alexia out, and she had to admit - she was very excited. Her dates with Noah would never get old. Never.
Alexia got out of bed, feeling sluggish and tired. Last night, she and Noah had gone out to dinner together and then to his house. And they got a little carried away, making out for hours and hours until they finally stopped at approximately 3 in the morning. Alexia had to rush back to her own house and got into a ton of trouble with her parents. They, however, didn't know that she and Noah were dating. They thought they had just gotten carried away talking like best friends do.
At school, Alexia, Noah, and Kayla had every class together, which made it kind of awkward for Alexia seeing them flirt with each other every minute of the day. They were the hottest couple at the school, which killed Alexia, but she could tell why. Noah was plain hot, with his blonde hair, green eyes, and athletic build, while Kayla was drop-dead gorgeous, with a perfect curved body, wavy brown hair, and large green eyes.
Alexia was standing at the doors to the school, waiting for it to open at 8:00 AM. Fifteen more minutes, she thought impatiently.
"Lex!" she heard a voice call. She looked over her shoulder and smiled widely when she saw Noah coming over, but her smile disappeared when she realized Kayla was with him.
"Hey," she called to them, a sudden yawn slipping out of my mouth. How attractive, she thought dryly.
Kayla squealed, hugging Alexia. "HI!"
Alexia smiled tiredly at her friend. For a few days after the night of the kiss, Kayla had resented Alexia because of Noah going to watch the sunset with his best friend and real love instead of staying with Kayla. However, Alexia had apologized immensely, truly feeling bad for leaving Kayla alone despite Kayla barging into their Saturday tradition, and things between them were good as ever.
Alexia just hoped they would stay that way. But she knew that tywouldn't happen. When Kayla would find out about Alexia and Noah...Alexia didn't want to think about it, but she knew the outcome would be bad.
Very bad.

The school day passed by torturingly slow, slower than usual because of the prospect of Alexia and Noah's date afterwards.
Kayla's parents would not allow a boyfriend to distract her from her academics, so she wasn't allowed to go on dates or hang out with Noah, except at school, during the weekdays. Because of this, fortunately, Alexia could have Noah to herself five days a week.
Noah and Alexia stayed in the library of the school until it closed at 4:00 PM. By now, everyone had pretty much left, and Noah and Alexia could load into Noah's car unnoticed.
