The Apocalypse

I said I'd get started right away, and I did! Haha! Anyway, onwards to victory! Or, fanfictory, in this case.. Whatever. Just read it!

~Mark POV~

Dawn was still asleep, but she was warm. I watched as she slept. God forbid she dies, we don't need another one of the creatures walking around.

~Flashback~

Wade, Bob, Jack and I were all hanging out at Matthias' and Amanda's place. It was a nice, sunny day, as usual for California, Los Angeles. We were joking around about "Septiplier" and "Lordskerm", enjoying one-another's company as we watched TV. Suddenly, the news came on.

"We interrupt the show to bring you breaking news from central LA."  The reporter quickly said. He was panicking. "It has suddenly begun snowing," Bob looked outside, he was right. "And people have begun to drop dead everywhere."

A loud growl was heard offscreen, and the man went wide-eyed. "No, no! Stay away!" The camera fell to the ground as the man was torn, limb from limb. Screams were everywhere.

"I have to find Amanda!" Matthias yelled, jumping up and running out. Bob and Wade were talking to Mandy and Molly. Jack was panicking.

Gripping his shoulders, I made him look at me. "Jack! Get ahold of yourself, dammit!" I slapped him as he continued to panic, "I know you're scared, I am too! But you have to stay calm!"

Jack simply pointed back to the TV, "Somebody, help us!" Some random woman had picked up the camera, no, not random, that was Amanda! "They're everywhere, the things! The dead! They are the dead!" She looked from side to side, "Matthias, stay inside! I'm coming home, just stay safe!"

The news switched, it showed Washington, DC. "Washington has fallen to the dead,"

"Ireland has died,"
"China is no more,"
"Sweden has fallen,"
"England is dead,"

"There are global reports of countries being wiped off the map. Global suicide rates have reached an all time high. Stay inside."

"AAAAGHH!" That was my mother!
"Mom! No!" I threw on my jacket, running to the door. Jack had already stopped me.

"Worldwide internet sensation, PewDiePie, and his girlfriend Marzia, have succumbed to the creatures."
"CinnamonToastKen and MaryGameFace are dead."
"Matthias and Amanda Faye have just died."

Matthias. Amanda. Mom. Felix. Ken. Marzia. Mary.

"Markiplier assumed dead, Jacksepticeye confirmed alive."
"LordMinion777 and Muyskerm missing."

I tweeted out, "I'm not dead, I'm with Jack, Bob and Wade! Stay inside!"

"ChaoticMonki has been reported dead."

Cry? I checked my notifications. "I'm okay, guys!" Cry was alive.
"Stahp lying to mah bros!" Pewds!
"Amanda and I are fine, we're safe." Matthias!
"@markiplier Thank god you're safe!" Who was '@nopeimgood'?

"Mary and Ken are fine!" Thank God.

"This just in," A picture of the Game Grumps appeared, "People are impersonating YouTubers," Video footage of  people on phones, on YouTuber's twitter accounts, "Only Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Matthias and ChaoticMonki are unconfirmed."

~End of flashback~

I blinked the tears out of my eyes as I remembered the day it happened. My family was dead, most of my friends were dead. "Goddamnit, FUCK!" I screamed, punching the wall. It wasn't fair.

~Reader POV~

"Goddamnit, FUCK!" I heard someone yell, snapping me awake. The man who had screamed was crying. I quietly got up and moved over to him, placing my hands on the man's shoulders.

"Hey, it's okay.." I whispered. He calmed down, and hugged me.

He was crying into my shoulder, "It's not fair, it's not! Why did this have to happen?!" I hugged him.

"I know it's hard, but you have to keep going." I whispered.
"I know.."

Here we go, chapter two. I hope you're enjoying it so far. This actually took a bit longer to write, but it was even more fun.

So, I have some news! First, I'd just like to suggest a fellow writer: JakSeptic. She's incredible, and if you enjoy my stuff, you'll enjoy her's even more! And my close personal friend: TheRolePlayer1! She currently has two stories out, but trust me, she'll have more.
I'll make sure of it..

Now, onto the news. I'm going to start a book of one-shots, song-fics, etc. There will be a place on my page to request things, hopefully you'll have some requests! It'll be up soon, I promise. Actually, it'll be up, probably right after this.
