Chapter 13

"Creature of earth, I beseech of thee. Protection from harm is what I wish for me, in to you this ring I place, Blind the protection well and to evil give chase" Kath says sitting on her bed "hello Kara a knock would be nice".

"Sorry" I say "is that the ring?"

"Yes it is" she stands up and walks over to me and hands me the ring "you give it to him"

I take the ring and walk back out and see allies talking to Bryn and then she looks at me in discuss. I pretend I didn't see and walk into Trever's room

"Hey?" Say walking in and shutting the door behind me

He lays in his bed looking at the ceiling I walk over and knee the bed to shake it

"hi" I say again for

"Hi" he said not looking. At me

"I know it sucks it will for a couple days but then you find being immortal is fun" I said looking at him

"It's not fun so far" he said looking at me

"Hear this will make it better" I put the ring on his middle finger "now you can walk outside" i said smiling

"Smart ass" he said rolling over trying to hide his smile

"Oh come on getting free beer and living forever will be fun" I said not knowing what weather is like so far

"Really?" He said looking at me "free beer"

"Yeah. I'll take you to the bar tomorrow morning" I said

It was starting to get dark out so I went to my room and slept I woke up in the morning Bryn Kath and Allie were already at school it was about 9:30 I got up and sent Bryn a text

-sorry why didn't you wake me up?-

I get up to go eat and Trever is already up and watching TV like a normal idiot I get a text back from Bryn

- it was the first day you didn't have a nightmare I didn't know if you were up all night trying to not have one and just passed out, sorry-

I replied with

-well I won't be at school I promised Trever I would take him to a bar-

I sent it and poured a bowl of cereal and ate it at the table still half asleep

"So you can eat normal people food" Trever said looking at me in amazement

"Yes. You've seen me eat before" I said looking at him

"Oh I didn't want to bother you about it" he said looking back at the TV

I finish the bowl and put it in the sink and walk back down to my room and get ready I cross off the day of Friday on my calendar of death days. Today was I don't care what day it is day. Tomorrow would be don't walk in my room if you don't want a pillow to the face day. I made up stupid named for the days of the week to show i don't care what day was where ever I was supposed to be I didn't want to be. But it never worked people kept adding things to my calendar. Mostly Bryn saying 3:40 am to get up for no reason at all. Or me adding stupid shit that I would never do but plan on it like by tickets to main. I never did. I walked back upstairs and sat down on the couch and put my boots on

"Yay beer" Trever said getting up

"How long have you been up"

"Since 8:00"

"Go get in the car" I said pointing at the door and getting up
