Jacob vs Hunter (previously Bad Boy)

Chapter 1

Abby's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm with my head throbbing in pain. It was my first day of sophomore year and I couldn't be dreading it anymore than I already am. I don't want to go to school because I lost all my friends and will have no one to talk to. Before the school year ended last year my best friend Michelle, and I got into a big fight. All of our friends chose to stay friends with her over me, leaving me where I am now, alone.
The knocking sound on my door snaps me out of my thoughts as I hear my sister Julia(Senior in High School) says "Abbey are you awake yet for school?" "Unfortunately!" I reply through my door. I look at the time on my phone and I read 6:00. I better start getting ready because Julia said we are leaving at 6:30. I go to my bathroom and start and start getting ready. I picked out a long sleeve cream shirt with lace on the top front and skinny jeans with a pair of gold Jack Rogers. I didn't have to do anything with my hair since its naturally pin straight, so I just braided the front piece and pinned it back. I grab my book bag and my phone and go downstairs to leave. When I walk downstairs Julia is downstairs eating breakfast. Ever since I lost all my friends I haven't been eating that much. I know that unhealthy but what's the point. I told Julia I am ready and we walk out to the car and I get in and we head off to hell. When we get to school my plan is to walk in with my head down and try to not let anyone see me. I walk straight to my class because I don't want to look at anyone. I walk in and look at the seating chart on the board, seat number 14. I looked at the seat next to mine and of course, it has to be a the hottest guy in school, Hunter Rowland. I sit down trying not to make eye contact and I just sit there listening to music on my phone. The bell rings and I hear my teacher say "Everyone put your phones away it's time to start class."I put my phone away as I'm literally shooting myself already. Mrs. Stalling says "This year we will be learning about chemistry and earth sciences this semester" I can feel Hunter staring at me so i look at him and he says "You like chemistry?" with that smirk he always has on his face. Annoyed at him I just give that sarcastic smile and look the other way. Mrs. Stallings hands out the syllabus and then she lets us talk for a while.
I'm just sitting on my phone but then I hear Hunter say "you look familiar, do I know you from somewhere?"
I stare into his big green eyes and I get start stuck for a second. "Uhhhh.. I don't know. I'm in the same grade as you". Why did I have to be sitting next to him.
"Oh I don't know how I could've forgotten a smokin' girl like you" he said as he wink with his signature smirk.
I made a disgusted sound and he just shrugged his shoulders and starting talking to the guy in front of him. The bell finally rung and I got up and walked to my next class. Of course, I look behind me as I walk in my class and Hunter had to be in my second class as well. Just my luck. I quickly go to the back hoping no one would see me.
I survived my next 2 classes and then it was time for lunch. Since I don't really have any friends I just plan on going into my sister's car to eat lunch. I mean I get to be alone and listen to music, what's wrong with that? When lunch is over I walk inside and head to my last class. As I'm walking up the stairs someone knocks my books over. I look up and see Michelle and all my old friends standing their staring and laughing. I start to pick up my books and I heard Michelle say "you should really watch where you are going" and laughs and walks away. I gather all my books and just keep walking hoping not as many people saw that as I think did. I walk into my class. Great... Michelle, my old friends, and Hunter are here. I walk to the back and sit down just like every other class and just try not to create attention to myself. After the teacher does that introduction that every teacher does on the first day, I put my earbuds in and just play my music while doing my homework that I got today. All of a sudden one of my earbuds come out of my ear. I look to see that it's Hunter and I roll my eyes.
He says "what are you listening to babe"
"Don't call me babe" I replied.
"Calm down girl, I'm just trying to get to know you"
"Maybe I don't want you to know me"
*riiiiinnggggg*
Saved by the bell...
I walk to my sisters car and get in and just sit on my phone until my sister comes out. Julia walks out with all of her friends and they all talk and take 'first day' pictures. I'm actually really jealous of my sister. She had a big group of friends (guys and girls) and they all just get along, hang out, and party on the weekends. Sounds perfect to me. After my sister is done she hops in the car. We start to drive off and the ride home was silent. Me and Julia don't really talk that much. The last time we really had a long meaningful conversation was when our father had a heart attack last year. We just exchange greetings now and go our own ways. Once we get home, I go up to my room and just watch YouTube videos and Vines. That is really all I do in my free time because I have no social life. Good thing I already did my homework during my last period because I could feel myself drifting to sleep already.
