"Ok, ok, bye mum" I smile as I leave the house. I'm going back to school after the summer holiday. I'm so excited to see all of my friends. I put my bag on my back and feel the warm Irish air on my face, better enjoy it while it lasts. The walk to the bus felt shorter today. As I sat down at the bus stop, I smiled, hopefully this day will live up to my expectations. I put in my earphones and listen to a cassette that my dad gave me before he passed away. It had all his favourite songs on it. I listened to them day and night.
The bus pulled up and I noticed I guy step onto it. Was he beside me the whole time?! Oops.
He looked like he wasn't too old, don't worry yourself.
I sat on a seat in the back, still listening to my music. Then it hit me. Holy shit!!!
I ran up to the taller man and wrapped my arms around him.
"Woah- hey! Oh (y/n)!!! Oh my god it's so great to see you! How was your summer?" He asked.
"Well, Seamus, it was pretty crappy. I just stayed here. The only thing I actually enjoyed was my gaming time!" I smiled. He pecked my cheek and I scooted beside him.
Seamus and I were good friends in primary school and then when we got into highschool, he started to build up feelings for me. Still he waited. I liked him back but I didn't say anything either. Last year, him and a few of my other friends(all guys) came to my house and we played truth or dare.
Seamus was dared to read his most recent text, it was from him to Eamonn. It said, 'she is just perfect, I love her, I wish I just had the balls to ask her out'. He blushed when he read it.
Then he got a truth again and he had to tell us who that girl was. It was me. We've been dating since.
I'm 16 now and this is my 6th year of highschool. I started when I was 11, they said I was a very smart student. Most of the other students were 12, then I finally turned 12... But then people started turning 13. I have always been one of the youngest. It kinda sucked. After chatting for a bit, we got off and I was greeted by Eamonn, Osean[pronounced: o-sheen], Derrek and Kenny. These guys were the best friends I have ever had along with Seamus. Every year those 4 would always get me to chat up the new girls into liking one of them. It has worked many times before, which was funny. This year though, there were only a few new people. Most of then were guys, and the girls were kind of not too good looking...
I walked to class with Eamonn and Derrek because we were all in the same class while Kenny and Seamus were in another class. We all met on a field trip when we were like 8.

After classes we all met up to have our first lunch break together. Seamus and Kenny were complaining about some new kid, how they just can't stand him already. I laughed. The way they described him, no one could hate someone that much, that fast. I mean, what did he do. They've known each other for like, what, 2 hours or something.
I just continued to eat.
