Julia's Point of View:
I look around at my new apartment, and smile. It has this beautiful layout plan, and two whole sides of the biggest part of it, which is made of the kitchen, living room, and dining room, is all glass, from top to bottom. The walls are white, as well as the ceiling, but the floor is this dark hardwood flooring. I love it, especially the game room.
The apartment building I was living in was one of the best, and safest, places to live in Washington. It's close to Seattle as well, so it will be easy to get to all of the cool shopping places. But, my favorite part of this whole thing is that you get two parking spots included with the apartment. And it gets even better. The parking spots are in a guarded parking garage, so no one will even be able to get near my babies without authorization.
"Um, Miss? Where would you like this box?", I turn around to see a skinny, young intern, carrying a box that was labeled 'video games' I directed him toward the game room, and continued to direct the other movers to certain rooms. It doesn't take too long, since I don't have much stuff.
As the movers are about to leave, one of them, that I nicknamed 'Alpha Big Nose', came up to me, "That will be $500 and a phone number" He winked at me, and looked me up and down, making me feel a little uncomfortable. I took out my checkbook, and gave him a check with the amount of money that he requested
He looked down at the check, "What? No phone number? You think it could be the least that you do, since we are giving you a discount." I rolled my eyes at him, and then got an idea. I opened one for the boxes labeled 'crafts' and took out a pencil and paper. I wrote down a phone number, and a little message, telling him to text me.
"Thanks babe. I'll see you later." He winked at me and left. I was about to throw up from how bad that experience was. I mean, did you see the size of his nose? It was like he was a reincarnation of Pinocchio. I shivered. Well, that movie will forever be ruined for me now.
I wonder how pissed off he will be when he finds out that I gave him a fake phone number.

Once I had all my stuff set up, I took all the boxes downstairs and recycled them. The elevator in my apartment complex was being upgraded, so It's a lot harder than it sounds. Its not like the boxes were heavy, but they were big. Lets just say, I might have tripped on the boxes a few times trying to get to the main floor.
When I got back to my apartment, I went on my computer, and went on YouTube. My last video got a hundred likes, which was pretty good, considering I only had a few hundred subscribers. After I finished checking out my channel, I went to see if Sky had posted a new video, and was surprised to see that there actually was one. Weird, it was only 2:58, he still had two more minutes before he was supposed to post a video. I shrugged it off, and started to watch his video.
"Hey guys, Sky here, and welcome to another vlog!", he was in the offices, in the room where he usually did his fan mail videos, but he didn't have any boxes or letters near him, "Now I know what you are thinking, SKY, why is there a vlog on your SkyDoesMinecraft channel? And well, the answer will blow. your. mind. WE ARE HAVING A CONTEST! And not just any contest, but a contest of the ages! Whoever wins the contest will be" ,He takes a deep breath, "A NEW MEMBER OF SKY MEDIA! Cool, right? The rules will be down in the description, and you have the rest of the week to make a video! ISNT THIS EXCITING? Good luck to all of you, and I will see you later recruits!" He ended the video, and I just stood there, in shock. A chance to become a part of Sky Media? I know the chances are slim for me to win, but if I did, that would be the best thing that could probably ever happened to my channel. It would boost my subscriber count, and I wouldn't have to edit my videos! There is so many other benefits to being part of Sky Media. Oh my gosh, this is the opportunity of a lifetime! I cannot mess this up. I remember what he said about the rules being in the description, so I quickly opened up the description, and red the rules:
'THE RULES FOR THE CONTEST:
1. You must have at least 300 subscribers' check.
'2. You must play a video game. It doesn't matter which one, but it has to be some sort of video game' what else could you do? You could vlog, but I don't think anyone would have been dumb enough to do that anyway.
The rest of the rules went like this, mostly just things that should obviously be done, like editing your own video. Who in the flipping wide web of YouTube had someone else edit their videos when they only had 300 subscribers? Anyways, I continued to read the rules, until I got to the last rule.
'20. You must have facecam during the majority of the video'
Shit.

A/N:
HEY GUYS, ARE YOU EXCITED? I WISH SKY WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS. Except, I don't actually make videos, BUT WHO CARES, RIGHT? Anyways, tell me if you like the book so far, and feel free to give constructive criticism. I REALLY NEED IT. I'm thinking about editing prologue so it actually includes Ross, since this is a fan fiction for him. BUT I WILL DO THAT LATER CUZ I AM LAZY! AND DONT FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE ACCOUNT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CHAPTER! BYES!
~Meow :3
p.s. Tell me if this is a good length for a chapter, or if it is too short or long. I also wanted to get this chapter out to you, so I didn't really edit it as well as I could have. Sorry!
