When I finally broke through my trance of simply staring at the girl I had taken a liking to earlier, I quickly stopped mid-pose to fumble with my clothes that were out of place.
"Umm, er, ha?" I smiled and grumbled nervously, despite my embarrassment. I held up a bento box filled with sushi I had bought at the local supermarket.
"Ah-" she was enveloped in the arms of Ryogo. Her eyes held ammusement as she tried to hold back a giggle. She didn't have a chance to explain just why she was with Ryoga when I quickly glanced back and forth between her and Ryoga in a fit to try to ask what was going on.
"What was?..." I pointed at Ryoga, brow furrowing in frustration. OUr appearances were very much alike so it seemed as if I was staring at a mirror.
"Now, before you say anything..." he dropped the girl on the floor and she gave a shriek of pain. Ryoga raised his hands at equal length, palm facing outward.
"Wha- ? You can't just-" I spluttered. She was crouced in a shrimp shaped posture as she fidgeted every few moments.
"Look. The problem is YOU!" My brother. After all we've been through of equal symmetry in life we grabbed me by my shoulders and jammed me against a wall. Unfortunately, the light switch was just below my back, so with each shove you pushed me into the wall, the pointy switch digged into my back.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO DOESN'T EVEN SHOW UP TO WORK AND BRING HOME A GIRL! AND WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!"
"That girl fainted in the middle of the elevator. Some damn idiot," his voice growled as it rose dramatically," Left the elevator hanging for half an hour before realizing his mistake! And to tell me you didn't even come to help your own brother!!"
"How the fuck was I suppose to know you guys were trapped in there huh?"
"UGH," Ryoga managed to swing back his arm, but before it reached contact to my face, the girl from earlier wailed weakly, "Stop, I know this is all just because of me. Please, stop fighting and just make up!" Her head hit the floor again. Saying all that must've tooken all the strength she had left.
"Kyoko!" Ryoga released my polo shirt and glared at me. His teeth clenched one last time as he ran over to the shaking figure on the floor. I followed awkwardly behind.
"I'm fine, just...stop fighting, okay? I'm having the worst headache ever and hearing you both fight like that will make me feel worse since it's all my fault..."
