(Note: Leaves is a nickname for the main characters companion not an actual pile of leaves)
As I reached the bottom of the metal bars leading down to the stone cold floor and I look out into the darkness of the underground tunnel.
"Leaves, get your ass down here its terrifying!" I yelled up to the maleish figure above me.
"Are you sure it's safe?" They asked me from above. I was starting to get the chills from being down here. I jumped at the sound of thunder only to later realize it was just cars crossing the street above.
"Can you please just hurry?" I yelled sounding a bit panicked.
"Okay, okay I'm coming down" He said and started climbing down. He hit the floor with a thump and we turned on our flashlights. They weren't very bright but they worked and they were all we had so we used them.
We started walking in when I heard something. There was...wind, that's impossible though! This is a closed tunnel!
That's when the fated incident occurred... The ground began to shake and I was flung against one of the tunnel walls and I looked around for Leaves I saw he was on the opposite wall. I called out to him but he didn't seem to hear me. Then all of a sudden I felt a large impact on my head and the world faded to white.....
