It was winter, she was five. her long brown hair flowed in the cold wind. Most her bright red boots were buried in the cold snow. The sun was setting, a bright orange glint reflected from the sparkled snow. The sky was purple and orange, he clouds shaded with pink. The girl smiles at the beauty. Her light blue eyes sparkled in the light and her skin was pale and white. Her sweater dressed flopped in the wind. The boy watched her carefully as she took her first steps in snow on her own. She stopped and watched as the day turned black, the memory of his wife flew around the fathers mind. He saw nothing but Amy in his poor daughter, even though she was slowly dying and wouldn't last long, the baby smiled happily. He was two steps behind her when she fell. Her delicate skin hit the freezing snow. He quickly reacted and held her above the snow, her smile widened. Her pretty blue eyes glistening started to go dull. He could feel her body getting cold.
"May... Please don't go..." He whimpered and held her closer, "I'll do better for you!".
He cried loudly and millions of hot tears ran down his frosty cheeks. The little girl reached her hand up to his cheek and with a fragile voice slowly replied to her father's cries.
"Dad...dy..." He looked at her with complete shock.
"My baby..." He said, caressing her cheek and keeping any part of her from touching the snow.
"Mo...mmy..." She whispered under her breathe, reaching to the sky past his head. Davis slowly looked up into the skies where she reached. A puffy cloud panted pink by the sky was shaped like a loving woman with wings. He gasped lightly and looked back to his daughter, who's pulse stopped. She closed her eyes and he cried. He lifeless body felt light in his hands and he slowly stood up with her in his hands.
