Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she opened her eyes and saw only pitch black before her. 'Am I dead?' She thought, surprised at the fact she could still move her fingers. Slowly hoisting herself up, she outstretched her arms, hoping to feel something in her dark surroundings. 'What if I'm blind?' Her heart began to race at the thought. "Hello?" She yelled, taking a hesitant step forward. The only sound she could hear was a high pitched ringing. Receiving no answer made her shiver with fear.

'Where are the walls?'

Her hand brushed against something that felt like stone. She turned abruptly and held her hand towards it. Swinging her arm frantically, she made contact with nothing but air. 'There was something there. I know I felt something.' Her breathing became heavier as she moved forward, the ringing growing louder with each step.

"What do I do?!" She screamed. Turning to the left, she felt stone brush against her cheek. 'What....' Her hands shot up and grasped the stone. It was in the shape of a hand. Her blood ran cold and fear shivered down her spine. Running her fingers along the stone, she discovered it was connected to an arm. She reached the shoulder and hesitantly held her hand out toward the head. She heard the sound of stone against stone as her hand touched its cheek. Through the darkness, she knew. It was facing her. Staring at her.

Gasping, she backed away and turned to run. 'Why did it have to be statues?'
She slammed hard into a chest. Another statue. "NO!" She screamed, collapsing to the ground. 'How did I get here?'

She felt their hands grasping at her clothes.

She fought back as she scrambled to stand again. Running, the ringing grew even louder and then... suddenly it was silent. Too terrified to move, she halted in place. The room grew cold as the silence seeped in around her.

Whipping her head around, tears ran down her cheeks as she tried desperately to see something, anything.

But nothing came to view. It was hopeless. There was nothing.

Unblinking eyes began to glow around her. She knew who they belonged to. The eyes shone like stars in the city on a cold dark night.

"I thought you wanted to see?"
