The spacing is really weird, I didn't have the strngth (really?) to edit ~
I don't know what to think of this chapter though.
Sorry for the late updates, I can't force my self to write if I don't want to
We started to walk with a lazy pace. My chest started to hurt, it seems that my heart is really not in its best shape. I glanced at him and I caught him staring at me. He puts his hand over the half of his face.
I took a deep breath and stopped walking. We're almost halfway, and I think I need a break.
"Jake-san?"
He reluctantly looked at me and stopped.
"You can really just call me Jake, Saito-san. What is it?"
I tried to summon all my courage to speak clearly. I swallowed the lump in my throat and tried to smile.
"Okay Jake, you can call me Kim. Hmm, would you like to stop and eat something?"
He smiles and nods. I'm glad the tension lessens, including the crazy beating of my heart.
"I'm really comfortable calling you Saito-san. My gut tells me that I have to call you that way."
We went to a shop nearby and started to eat. I think he's having fun with me, that's good.
"Saito-san, can I ask you something?"
He asked with a little hint of hesitation. I nodded and he started to continue.
"You're friends with Jenny right? I'm really interested, about you two."
My eyes widened, he's interested in me? I mean, us.
"Well, I guess we're friends. She told me."
I giggled to lighten the mood.
"Jenny is really cute and nice, but she's not pretty bright. Oh, she'll be moving in with me tomorrow. It was a little shocking because it's too sudden, but we'll manage."
Jake laughs at my statement. It seems that he found something funny. I looked at him with one eyebrow raised and my head tilted.
"Sorry, nothing is really funny. The two of you are just.. cute."
He looked away, I'm lucky enough that he wasn't looking to see my red face. It seems that I'm really affected with what he says.
I'm almost fell when I tried to stand. I wanted to slap myself for my clumsy behavior.
"We should get going. Its sunset, I don't like being outside in the evening."
He stood and we agreed to pay separately.
When we arrived at the complex, we stopped at the 3rd floor.
"I'll be off now. In what floor do you live Saito-san?"
I smiled and looked in his eyes, when did it get that pretty? His eyes are brown; I think it looks really good compared to my deep onyx eyes. When I saw his hand waving in front of my face, I blushed slightly.
"Fifteen, I live in the fifteenth floor."
He grabbed my shoulder lightly.
"Wow, you live in the big room? There are only two rooms in that floor compared to ten in this floor. Are you ridiculously rich?"
I looked everywhere but him. This is what I was afraid of when I knew that he also lives here.
"How did you know about all that?"
I managed to show an awkward smile, hoping that he won't notice that I didn't answer his question.
He rubbed the back of his head; it seems that he fell for it.
"My parents tried to get me the same type of room, but the price is crazy!"
He started to laugh.
I waved my hand and started to walk back to the elevator.
"I need to get going. You're welcome to help us with the moving tomorrow. Jenny said she can't afford to pay the movers."
I continued to walk away when I saw him wake back. Before he can say something again, it seems that the elevator loves me and opened. I quickly went inside and pushed the button to my floor.
I was able to sigh with relief. I don't want to talk about that for now. But I guess its fine if Jake and Jenny knew, wow, and their names really sound good together. I let out another sigh, but I doubt if it's for relief.
She was startled when she heard the phone rang. She quickly took the phone.
"Good Evening. This is Kim Saito."
Who could it be? No one dared to call him in the evening.
"Kim onee-chan?"
She can never mistake that cute little voice for someone else. Especially his serious style of speaking that is not very cute.
"What is it Kuro-chan?"
The boy over the phone is my youngest brother, Kuro. He's turning seven next month.
"I just put Kuro on the phone so you'll be in a good mood Kim onee-sama."
The second voice was loud that made me flinch. It was Kyou, my younger brother. He's only younger by a year. He's the typical unruly kid. But he never disrespected me.
"What do you want Kyou-chan?"
I answered with a cute and teasing voice.
"Stop with the chan nee-sama! It's embarrasing!"
I heard a fake cough; it must be Kei-nii.
"Kei nii-san, Kuro, and I will be visiting you on Sunday. Nii-san said that it will be a house thingy party. Kuro liked the idea so we'll be coming over. I know you think its troublesome nee-sama, but we don't want to make Kuro upset, do we?"
It sounded normal, but I know that was a blackmail.
"Okay okay, I can't argue with that. Get me Kei-nii, Kyou."
They're still unaware about Jenny moving in. I need to talk to Kei-nii about it. I really hope it goes well.
