Chapter 15: Pool Party

Lulu's POV

Days, weeks, months passed....

I woke up because of the knock on my door, I opened the door and didn't mind on how I look.

"Good morning Lulu, sorry for the interruption, it's just ---" I cut Poppy off.

"Huh? What is it for?" I'm asking about the card she's handling on her hand as I scratched my eyes.

"Invitation card, pool party, from Ziggs, but the venue is at Graves', everyone will be there. Ziggs asked me to spread these letters, and please ask Veigar out, please come, bye." Poppy said and left.

I sat down on my bed and reached for the phone and called Veigar, as I'm opening the invitation card.

*cring cring*

"Hello?" He said.

"Uh, hi. So, there is this invitation card..." I stopped from talking and still opening the card.

"Hmm yeah? What is it?"

"There's a pool party at Graves' residence and...." I paused. "It will be tomorrow morning 7am, wow that will be early. And we're invited, uhmmm, you coming?"

"I guess not."

"Aw, why?" I asked.

"I don't like swimming, and I also don't know how to. And..."

"And what??"

"I don't wanna tell you." He said.

"Just tell me." I said.

"Well, I don't want people to see my body." He explained.

"Aaaaw, but please come, because everyone will!" I pleased him.

"No, and nothing can change my mind."

"No one will protect me there nor save me when I drown." I said.

"Then don't attend, too. End of problem." He said and hang up.

"Tsh, that coward." I talked to myself. "Yo Pix, you coming? I need you for my costume!"

"Here we go again." Pix said and sighed.

4:59am

"Pix wake up!!!!!!!! You gotta get ready!" I woke Pix up.

"But it's still early!" Pix yelled.

"2 hours are not enough!"

"30 minutes will be enough for me!" Pix said and slept again.

Nvm. Our things are already fixed, arranged. I gotta get going.

6:45am

We're ready! And we're just going to the venue.

"See? 15 minutes to get ready!" Pix said.

"Whatever Pix."

But before exiting the house, someone knocked on the door.

"Veigar? What are you doing here?" I asked in my surprise.

"I'm coming..." he whispered.

"Yey! What made you come?" I jumped in joy.

"I don't want you to be in danger." He said and looked down.

"Then let's get going!" I said and pulled him.
