Chapter 43: Report to Save

Lulu's POV

"So... what if they caught me?"

"You can be invisible, right?" Veigar asked.

"Well, yes. Do you think that's enough to get away?" I asked, knowing it shouldn't.

"Yes" He answered, "what's your plan on getting me out of here? Though I don't mind dying since my life is completely fucked up now."

"Are you out of your mind? It won't be enough, anything can be very high-tech these days." I shook my head in disagreement. I observed the whole room, ending my eyes on him thus I observed his face.

"Do you... really trust me?" I asked, to see his expression, it's as if he...

"Yes," he said and looked away.

My eyebrows furrowed in pain, "m-maybe not fully." I whispered. He continued to show such expressions, like he was traumatized and betrayed by the one... in front of him.

"You don't!" I screeched, in a way I shouldn't have. As my voice echoed along the walls and vibrated through the other rooms, it was unexpectedly loud. Loud as I was in indefinite pain, which I don't have the right to be in. It was all my fault after all. I pushed him away after all, I didn't trust him in the first place; now I know he wouldn't trust me, too.

"Who's there?" Someone yelled across the room.

"Guards... Veigar what should we--" I looked back at where he was, he was in the corner of his very own cell. Like he doesn't know me.

"An early execution huh?" The guard commented at the scene.

"I... don't know her! Please take her out of here!" Veigar pretended so he won't get an early execution.

"V-Veigar?" I looked at him just to see him shaking in fear.

"Shall we execute her, too?" The guard with a mustache said.

"Shouldn't we ask the head first?" The other guard with a whiny voice said.

As they were making an unimportant debate, I tried to make an escape. Fortunately, I did escape with the help of Pix, with his rare teleport shit that I didn't know of.

"What the hell was that? Why didn't you use it earlier for the three of us? We could've used that to help Veigar escape!" I demanded without thinking.

"I'm your companion not his. Meaning, I can't teleport him."

"Oh, so that how it works." I said and think. What if...

"I'll tell the head of the field of justice." I said without thinking twice.

Pix gave me a response that tells me he's not that interested.

"I'm sure they'll tell whoever imprisons Veigar to fuck off if they knew! I mean who wants to get their characters deleted because he died in real life? That's how it works here, right? You die in real life, you get deleted in the game, too!" I kept blabbering but Pix doesn't seem to care much. He seems off for some reason.

"Hey Pix, what's the matter?" I asked out of concern.

"He might be dead now, that's what I'm thinking. They did say something about an early execution or something." He finally answered.

"Ah, I forgot. I'll head to their office now then. He might still be alive too though." I ran back to my house to prepare myself for the worst. I just don't get why they, the field of justice,  aren't updated with the news. I mean yeah that news is only available on that specific channel for Bandle City, but premium users can get access to that channel. So, how come? 

Ugh, I'm just so mad they can't do anything about Veigar! Are they turning a blind eye into it? Hate him secretly to just let it happen? Whatever, let's see.

I finally arrived to the head quarters, a lot of office people are here of course. Pfft, I mean employees— I was heading to the main office when someone stopped me.

"Any business here kiddo?" A tough looking lady asked me.

"First, I'm not a kid; Second, I'm here to report something; Third, who are you to stop me?; Fourth, I'm Lulu— a character in League of Legends; Fifth, goodbye!" I said and went straight to my destination, but she stopped me once again.

"Look, I might've said a lot of stuff, but can you just?" I said in nuisance.

"Ask for an appointment first, they are busy men,"

"They? Ugh, who cares." I'm really annoyed, and in a hurry, she can't stop me.

I opened the office door with a loud bang, making everyone inside look at my way.

"We need to talk, this might be very unprofessional of me but this is important and I won't hesitate not to waste any more time." No one dared to speak, why is that?

"Someone's about to kill Veigar— execute," I continued.

"Close the door," Someone finally spoke, so I did follow.

"Who and why?"

"Well, it was really his fault but he can't just vanish, yeah? He stole the most expensive gem in Bandle City. What do you mean by who? Who will get executed or who will execute Veigar?" I asked just to answer my own question, "Teemo ordered his men to execute him, well it was a death penalty requested by Veigar."

"We can't lose such character in League of Legends though." One of them commented.

"I know right! Even if Veigar wanted this, you gotta stop everything from happening. About the gem, there must be a way to repay it. Even though it's as expensive as heaven." I suggested.

"We'll have our investigation team to look for that gem, you won't need to worry about it. We'll guarantee you that we'll bring it back to where it was. We also have to talk to Teemo about the issue and get Veigar out right away and get him free off charge. In return, we have to nerf him in game, as long as he has to suffer with his upcoming nerf. Not bad of a deal, yes?" I give him a quick nod, "dismissed."

I was pulled out of the room as quick as lightning, like I didn't even realize I was already out of the room. Well, I hope this works. I'm glad they are easy to talk to and knows how to act up.

A/N

Just a quick recap, or things I might have missed to tell you. Turner the shadow tricked Veigar into helping him revive Lulu, she got revived because she has nine lives though! But she lost a little bit of her memory after that, it just works that way. Turner tricked Veigar again into helping him make Lulu sane. He didn't help one bit though, he just wanted Lulu to die, well he failed because Lulu actually has nine lives and he wasn't aware of that. Dark shadows and the glade are rivals, that is why he just wants to mess with anyone who is from the glade. He just hates the glade very much.

Lulu only has seven lives now because she lost two from: first, their stupidass game; second, Turner tricked Veigar. 

"Why is Lulu sane again?" There are consequences or side effects from losing one life out of nine. First consequence, she will lose a bit of her memory. Second, heals every mental illness, like a cleanse. (Oh, how I wish this was true in real life I would be willing to kill myself twice LOL) Third and so on, I haven't thought of any yet since I don't plan on killing her anymore, poor Lulu. Kind of a spoiler but what gives? Okay, whatever.

REMINDER: not everything in my story is canon, I just invent some of them with my imagination.
