I ended up running to a bus stop but it wasn't the one I usually take.

A bus was coming to me , I have no idea where this bus takes me but I got on

I sat in the back and turned on my phone to call Emily

"Hello?" She answered. Thank god

"H-hey Emily" I stuttered on the edge of tears

"Oh no, what's wrong? Your mom again?" Emily already knew which I was thankful for

"Yea.."

"Where are you?"

"I'm not sure" I looked around the bus and pulled the stop button

"what do you mean?" Emily sounded worried

"I just jumped on a bus, I don't know where it's taking me but I'm getting off right now" the bus stopped and I got off with all my bags

I sat down on a near bench and set down my stuff

"Ok, look around you"

I listened and looked around and saw a sign with the city name and a Taco Bell

I told emily what I saw

"Alright, I'm coming wait there" and she hung up.

I feel bad for Emily , I get in all these messes and she has to stop and come get me. I'm basically ruining her happiness

I frowned to myself

The cool wind brushed past me causing goosebumps to form on my naked arms

Crap, did I forget a sweater again?

I should just go to Taco Bell and wait there.

I opened the door to the fast food restaurant and found an empty table

It was empty in here and kinda had a creepy environment

There was a guy across the room with a burrito in his hands stareing at me . He looked like he was in his late 30's . I got chills down my neck

He wouldn't look away and my hands started sweating . Please ignore me like everyone else does

He was starting to get up . He pushed his chair in and threw away his food then started coming towards me

"Jae!" Emily opened the door with her phone in her hands saving me from the creep

I grabed my stuff quickly and followed her to her car

"Who was that guy?" Emily got in the drivers seat

"I'm not sure, you came in just in time though" I sat in the pasengers seat and threw my bags in the backseat

"Well then.." She started the car and we drove off. I told her about everything that happened earlier with my mom and by the time I finished we were at her house

"Are you okay?" She parked the car

"Yea, she was probably drunk. She'll forget everything in the morning." I opened my door and grabbed my stuff

"Alright, there's some left over spaghetti in the microwave" Emily opened the front door and leaded me to her room

We sat down on her bed. she turned on the TV and the news appeared on the screen

"Have you talked to your partner recently?" She asked out of no where

"Yea we spoke this morning before my mom started yelling at me" I took out my phone and showed her the messages

"She's really friendly, huh" Emily had a weird tone

"Yea..." I gave her a confused look "she's nice, I'm grateful" maybe Emily is worried I might replace her? I won't . Never

"I mean like, these messages are kinda weird.."

"What do you mean?" Now I'm really confused

"Do you think.." She whispered "she's a lesbian?"

My eyes widened

"No! She's just nice oh my god Emily" I took my phone back

"Well.. Let's message her" She grabbed my phone back

I looked behind her back and watched her type 'hey sunyoul'

We got a message in about 20 seconds

'Sunyoul is busy. I'm a friend' -sunyoul

Emily looked up at me "what now?"

I was about to answer her but a ding came from my phone making us turn our heads

Emily checked and screamed

"THATS NOT FAIR ! YOU GOT A CUTE PARTNER"

"What are you talking about" I grabbed the phone from her and saw a text with a picture of a boy (a/n photo on top)

'I don't think sunyoul saw me take a picture of him ㅋㅋ'-sunyoul

I looked at the picture and started freaking out. This whole time I thought it was a girl! It's a boy, a really cute boy too .

I started hitting my head remembering he saw my selfie

I stopped

I shouldn't even be freaking out, it's not like we're ever gonna see Eachother nor are we gonna talk again after this stupid assignment

I turned my phone off and faced Emily who had a grin on her face
