Our daughter laid in my arms, as Niall read her a bed time story. Everytime Niall would stop at the periods she'd, whine. As soon as she fell asleep in "Her." New room. I felt bad since, she lost her memory. She forgot me and Niall, her house, her school, her friends, her pets; Doritos and Minnie, but somehow she didn't forget the boys and their girlfriends!

I woke up feeling numb, only from my wrist and down. I forgot. Stupid, tight rubberbands. I took them off until my fingers stopped looking yellow. "Leslie, get up quick." Niall looked worried. I got up and looked at him, to go on. "Nia, she's been talking to herself.." I push him out of the way, and run to Nia's room I stand against her wall to listen;

"I got my red dress, on tonight cruisin' bout nintey-nine."

I smile and chew on my lip, and look at her. "She's remembering us, Niall!" I jump up on his hips. "She's singing Summertime sadness, when we found out that she was, too young to go to school!" He spinned me around.

"So, Leslie what are ya doing tonight?"

I hear her, mimic Niall. "Niall, she's mimicing you, remember when you wanted to go out and she said if we could to go out for ice cream?" He nodded, his eyes becoming glossy.

"It's only been four months, but you've fallen down so far!"

A tear escapes his eye, he presses his lips against mine. I wipe his tear, hugging him tight. "She remembers us, I know it!"
As we both enter the door, she immediately rushes over, hugging us.

"I love you." Nia whispers.
