Chapter 4

-Ross's Point Of View-

She was smiling right in front of my lips.

"So.."

"So?", I smiled even wider, staring at her brown, completely lost, eyes.

"What does this make us?"

"Whatever you want us to be"

After a few seconds, we heard someone running behind us and we turned around, taking our arms off of each other's body.

"Guys, oh my God! Where were you? We arrived to the lake and you weren't there with us, so we started looking for you", Riker said fast and panting.

"Bro, calm down", I laughed, "we're safe"

"Don't joke Ross, mom thought you got lost and told me to run all the way in the wood until I find you", he laughed too. "thank God you were quite near the lake. Now let's go."

Avery and I glanced at each other like wondering did he saw anything?, then started walking behind Riker. When I remembered about the wound, I came closer to her and whispered in her ear "can you walk?"

"So why did it take you so long?", Riker asked before she could answer me.

"uhm... I hurt myself walking, I don't know how, but it's nothing actually. We just took a break", she replied, then looked at me. I'm fine, her eyes were saying. 

"Oh, I'm so sorry Avery. Feels better now?"

"Kinda. It's fine, just don't make me run", she laughed at the end and me and Riker did too.

We arrived at the lake and it was wonderful. I didn't even expect that place to be that amazing.

We had a sort of picnic there and we talked a lot, especially Avery. My mom loved to talk with our new friends.

"And that's when we came to LA."

"Rydel was crying like a baby!", Ellington laughed pointing at her.

"Hey! I just didn't wanna leave Colorado!"

"So, Avery, you should absolutely see the lake from the other side!", my mom started saying again.

"Oh yeah it's awesome!", all the guys said.

"Sounds amazing, but uhm... I'm just a bit tired, I'll see it next time", she replied looking at her leg. I didn't think she could walk at all.

"You know what.. ", I said, "I'm going there too. Come ooon, let's go", I said pretending to beg her while I actually meaned: We'll sit so you won't have to walk and we'll be able to spend some more time together and talk.

"You should go, girl!", Rydel said looking at her.

"Okay, fine", she got up and started walking with me. We soon arrived where they couldn't see us anymore.

"Are you sure your leg is gonna be okay?"

"Yeah.. tomorrow it'll be better already"

"Oh we can sit there!", I said pointing at another rock.

We sat and talked for about an hour, and I've never laughed so hardin my life. We got on so well I couldn't even believe it.

"But anyway... Avery, I wanted to say that uhm.. I like you. Like seriously, since the first moment I saw you" . She slowly blushed.

"It's crazy how we only met yesterday... And that I also thought I'd hate you"

"Yeah, it is", I smiled, "so what do you say?"

"I say.. I feel the same way"

I smiled more and came closer to her. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Let me think... Yes", she said laughing. We kissed again. I couldn't believe that was really happening. I wonder how does she feel.

-Avery'sPoint Of View-

I couldn't believe that was really happening. I had a huge smile on my face during all the way back. We were walking hand in hand when he stopped and looked at me.

"Avery"

"Yeah?"

"What are we supposed to act like with them? Should we tell everybody?"

"Sure, it's your family. Maybe not just yet. What do you think?"

"Yeah, let's not say it already. They'll probably understand it by theirselves anyway"

-Ross's Point Of View-

When we came back, everybody asked Avery about the lake. We didn'teven been to the other side, so I laughed all the time when she answered.

"Ross come on, stop laughing! She's talking man "

"Hey Ross, can I talk to you for a sec?", Rocky asked me a few minutes after.

"Sure". We walked away from everyone. "what's up?"

"I'm telling you about this cause you spent a lot of time with her today and you're probably the one who knows her better.. please don't tell anybody. I like Avery."

Damn it.
