When Every Day’s The Weekend
*Three weeks earlier*
“Hey Kat, you said we needed to chat?” I asked as I greeted Kat.
“Why hello there stranger, ha-ha yeah we need to arrange Emma’s birthday and seeing as you two live together I thought you’d be the best person to go to.” Kat chuckled lightly.
“So did you have any ideas of what you wanted to do for her?”
“We’ll I was thinking of hiring out a nightclub or something and having a band play?” Kat said sounding hopeful. “But I don’t know, what do you think?”
“That sounds fucking awesome!” I almost shouted, causing the table next to us to glare at me, oops.
We sat trying to organise Kat’s idea for about an hour or so. We eventually managed to write up a list of everything we needed, a guest list which included some people Kat knew and had found a place we could hire out for the night as well as a local band to play. It’s not even my party but I’m so excited for it!
*Present time*
It was the morning of Emma’s birthday and we still hadn’t let on that we were throwing her a party. Emma hates making a fuss of things but come on it’s her 21st we just had to do something for her, Kat was now dropping hints that something was going on to night and that she needed to dress up but that’s my part of the plan to try get her there in something decent. Easier said than done that’s all I’m saying.
“Come on Emma it’s your 21st we just want to take you out for the night, for me please!” I begged, for what must have been the 100th time.
“Ugh! Fine, but I don’t want to be out too long okay?” Emma sighed eventually giving in. “But I’m not wearing anything too revealing no matter what you or Kat says.”
“Fine, I’ll let you get away with that one. Now hurry up or we’ll be late, Kat’s waiting for us.” I said throwing a dress at her which Kat had picked out.
It didn’t take us long to get ready which was good seeing as the traffic was a nightmare, we arrived at the club about half an hour late. Not surprisingly we were met by a very pissed off Kat though she soon cheered up once she saw Emma.
“Omg, Emma you look so beautiful!” Kat squealed.
She was right though, Emma really did look beautiful. The dress fitted her perfectly as always, okay I’ll admit I’m jealous of Emma. But who wouldn’t be?
“You don’t look too bad yourself my dear.” Emma laughed sweetly as she smoothed out her dress. “Should we go in then?”
“Yeah come on, it’s freezing out here.” Kat said while pulling Emma towards the doors to the club.
The club was silent as we walked in, you couldn’t even hear music playing. We just had to get Emma in before she got too suspicious of what was going on. Luckily Kat was here to drag her in before she could say anything. Kat pushed Emma through the door and as she did I could hear everyone inside shouting surprise. God Emma’s going to kill us ha-ha.
“I’m going to kill…” Was all Emma managed to shout at us as before she knew it Kat had pulled her into a passionate kiss gaining a few wolf whistles from some of the guests.
“Now what were you going to say?” Kat winked.
“Just you wait, I’ll get you back for this.” Emma Joked. “But really you did this for me?”
“No I did it for Keah. You silly cow of course we did it for you, happy birthday Em.” Kat smiled giving her hand a squeeze.
“Yeah happy birthday Emma, I hope you like it.” I said giving her a quick hug, I knew Kat wanted her all to herself tonight and getting on her bad side isn’t something I intend to do anytime soon. She can be a right bitch when she wants to be.
