ADVENTURE ON CASTLEROCK

CHAPTER I

We continued walking and reached the lake."Does anybody know when the next train is due?"Vern asked nervously."nobody knows".Gordie said."But we have to get across this"Teddy suggested."Yeah,well what if a train comes and we're in the middle?"Gordie said."We'll have to jump into the water"Teddy said."Are you cracked? It's a hundred feet,Teddy"Chris said."Chickens"Teddy said as he started walking.We looked at eachother and Chris nodded to Teddy's direction so we followed him instead.

We were halfway through the bridge.Gordie held the tracks.I think he's feeling something cause I feel it to.I guess it's one of those twin stuff.He felt the Tracks vibrate.He looked behind him and saw smoke.Not long enough,a train was in sight."Train!"Gordie exclaimed as we all ran."Hurry up,Vern"I said."I'm trying!"He said.The train was coming closer so we had no choice but to jump in the water.We all held hands together and jumped.

As we landed on the water,Teddy started dunking Vern in the water so I followed and dunked Gordie in.Teddy probably started a water fight.Behind us was Chris laughing his ass out.We looked at him then at eachother.Gordie nodded his head to Chris's direction and we went near him and dunked him in.We had so much fun! I've never been this happy before.After a few minutes of playing in the water,we went ashore.

The boys took their clothes off to let them dry.Sadly,I'm a girl.I can't just take off my shirt anywhere! They hung their clothes near a tree and we set a bonfire.I took my shirt off and fortunately I brought with me my Denim Jacket so I wore it.We took BBQ sticks and stuck various of foods in it.Teddy had a hotdog,Vern had a really huge Sausage,Gordie had a burger and Chris and I had a Marshmallow."Hey Vern,you might wanna turn that around"Chris said."I like it this way"."Fine" Afterwhich,Vern's food fell in the fire and we laughed."Hey this is not funny guys what am I supposed to eat?"."Why don't you cook your dick?"Teddy joked."it'd be a small meal"Chris added and we all laughed."haha,screw you guys I got it!"Vern picked his sausage back up again.We had a long conversation arguing about nonsense.Honestly arguing about nonsense is alot more worth it than playing with dolls.

It was 10:45 pm when we were about to sleep.Suddenly,we heard a howl in the woods."what was that?"Vern was terrified."it's a ghost coming for you,Vern"Teddy said with his spooky voice."don't say that!"Vern started swearing while he was about to cry."Boo!"Teddy yelled at him.Vern then jerked."Two for flinching"Teddy said fisting Vern's arm twice.I laughed at how adorable they were when suddenly the howl came again.Chris stood up and pulled out his 45 I was shocked he had a gun but I was cool with it since he looked good with his gun."What is it Chris?"Gordie asked."maybe its Coyotes"Chris said and we heard the howl again."Jesus H Bald-headed Christ!"Teddy said about to hit the bonfire."M-maybe we should stand guard?"Vern asked nervously and terrified."Good Vern".Chris said."Give me the gun,I'll take the first call"Teddy said as he took the gun.

We all went back to sleep as Teddy stood guard."twenty three hundred hours and corporal Tedy Duchamp stands guard"Teddy started talking to hiself as if he were some kind of an agent or something."Shut up Teddy and keep your eyes peeled"Chris said.Teddy started making horn noises."Teddy!"We all yelled at him.Each of the boys stood guard and the last one was Chris.I looked at him and felt like going to him since I couldn't sleep.
