Emily's POV
Earlier That day
"Come on Emily, go look around explore what's out there." Mum said trying to cheer me up. We recently left London and came to Germany, as a family getaway. "What is there to explore mum all there is here is snow and a small town! and I have nothing to do but sit here." Mum looked at me annoyed by my attitude. "You're welcome to come in town with us" I shook my head no. "I'll pass thanks" I got up from my seat and grabbed my coat. "Where are you going?" my mum asked "I saw a coffee shop down the road I'll go there" my mum shook her understanding. "Okay me and father won't be back for a month or maybe longer" I looked at her confused. "What?"
mum sighed. "we need our vacation away from you at times"
"this is supposed to be a family vacation not a mum and Dad getaway! If it was why did you bring me?" my mum sighed and looked away from me. "We had to bring you because we don't trust you alone at home back at London. Now we have to go I can't stand another minute here."
"Yeah neither can I!" I shouted angrily leaving the small cabin. I slammed the door to make my point clear. I began walking in the cold to a coffee shop, I wasn't going to order anything just sit to get away.
Once I saw it in the distance I walked a little faster, to get out of the freezing wind. Finally I walked in the warmth hitting my face. The smell of coffee filling my nose. I saw an empty table by the window might as well. I said to myself taking a seat.
"I think I should start heading back the sun is setting and I don't want to walk in the dark"
"here let me drive you back to your cabin, there's crazy men out there that will do horrible things." She smiled getting up "thanks Brad" I nodded. "no problem" I said.
I had to get her out before the pills began to kick in. "I'm really dizzy hang on" Emily stopped walking "Is everything okay." She nodded "yeah everything is okay" I nodded "my car is right here" I opened the door for her she sat down "thank you" she said closing the door
I got in as quick as I can. "My cabin is just up that hill" I started the engine to the car and began driving up the hill. "I'm going to close my eyes just for a sec-" before she could finish she was out.
